Batman
Gimmick!
Kick Master
Ninja Gaiden
Zelda 1

I still play Zelda, Mario 2, Mario 3, Ninja Gaiden, and Castlevania on my 3DS whenever I take business trips.

Those games a fucking classics.
The only thing I wish Nintendo would do is add Shatterhand to the 3DS library.

Mario 3
Kirby's Adventure
Startropics
Ice Hockey
Mega Man 3

Metal Storm is real good.
I like SMB2 a lot.
And I regularly practice Tetris on NES.

Kirby. Rented once and blew my young mind.

Mega Man 4, although all six NES games are worth playing.

wario's woods owns but it's way better on snes than nes

Ooh, how so?

Punch Out, Excite Bike, and Mario 3.

And Zelda 2

Kirby must have been mind blowing if all you had was an NES back in the day. Even today the amount of animation frames and backgrounds Kirbo has is impressive.

it's been a long time since I played the nes version, but it has a story mode of sorts with a bunch of silly oc characters. also because you have extra buttons, you also have the ability to pick up or put down an individual part of a stack, rather than only being able to pick up and put down the entire thing at once. also obviously improved graphics and music

Why has Dr. Mario been remade multiple times and received online play while Wario's Woods hasn't been touched since the SNES?

This. Megaman 4 sticks out though, it is clearly the best of the classic series. Unironically one of the best games ever made.

> you also have the ability to pick up or put down an individual part of a stack, rather than only being able to pick up and put down the entire thing at once.
You could also do this in the NES version, if I recall A would pick up the stack and B would pull one item out of it; you had to hold down and press a button to kick in the NES version but there's no actions you simply can't perform

master system was cooler

because dr mario is the most simplistic puzzle game of all time

>Shatterhand
My absolute nigger.
OP, if you haven't heard of this game, you should give it a chance. One of the best surprise finds of my life.

Kirby's Adventure
Super Mario Bros 3
Mega Man 2
Mega Man 3
DuckTales
Bomberman II
Tetris

Metal Storm
Shatterhand
Kirby's Adventure
Mega Man 4 (best Classic game until 10)
Darkwing Duck
Castlevania 1 & III

Just curious, did you not play Megaman 9 or do you simply regard it lower than 10?

Punch Out!!
Zelda 2
Dragon Quest 3
Mario 1-3 (Especially 2)

NES?

Kunio Kun no Nekketsu Soccer League
Kirby's Adventure
Mighty Final Fight
Mario 3

Literally all of those are good picks. Mario 2 especially is so rare to find fans of. It's always been my favorite Mario.

The Guardian Legend
Battletoads/Double Dragon (the one made by Rare)
Ike Ike! Nekketsu Hockey-bu: Subete Koronde Dairantou
Tetris
