The 2 other characters will often have nothing of value to say during the main plot because they were originally focused on another antagonist. If you have a party of Angela/Duran/Charlotte, then Angela and Duran will constantly have something to say while Charlotte is just kinda there as a tag along with her story just kinda resolving itself behind the scenes.

Lord is a lot better than Paladin for everything that matters in my opinion.

Everyone has a different story but there are only 3 main villains, so each 2 characters share a villain.
Most of the actual story is the same for everyone since 90% of the game is chasing and collecting the macgufins then fighting the evil world ending monsters.

The only differences are each character has a different start, some dialogue changes depending on who you play as and the final dungeon.

It would be cute AND funny.

In reality his buying or not will not change if another remake comes or not. If it did I'd personally buy him the game.

Each character has a different story early on but 2 characters will eventually get pulled towards the same villain in their paths. Duran/Angela, Kevin/Charlotte and Riesz/Hawkeye are the pairings for that. Having 2 of those characters in your party leads to a lot more interesting dialogue.

I was actually very surprised that the default keybinds for KB+M were good.
I still prefer controller cause I like leaning back to play but both play really well
