I saw a pokemmo thread the other day reach bump limit. Probably because of muh covid but maybe user is feeling the pokemon itch again? Anyway, I figured I would post this if anons are really interested in playing.

Do you get a new starter in each region or do you need to make sure you have at least one below a certain level?
It's basically like starting a new game in [region]. You start in the hometown, get a starter, and move on from there.

Coop is possible in battle tower and battle frontier, also some events I think (never tried the events personally). Pokemmo plans to release coop dungeons once they're done with regions I think.
So it's an MMO without the ability to play with other people, so it's the game but grindier and the only difference is I can see huehues and slavs running about on screen and my TM's break?

I do agree that you should be able to partner up with a player and turn every fight into a double battle though. they could even give gyms a different lineup if you were co-oping
user I quite literally explained how to play with other people. And the people you see running around in the overworld can be battled, traded, etc.

Battle tower and frontier are end game and weren't especially fun in the vanilla games at that because the AI cheats

Johto is the only region not available, since they want to do it right and update kanto along with it. Also johto is either gen2 or g3n4 you dummy.

You need a clean rom of the regions. No hacks or anything. FRLG, RSE, DPPt, HGSS, BW.

I do it because I like pokemon and it's neat being able to style on random fags and visit all the regions. Plus playing with Yas Forums is fun.
I mean the region for region locking purposes. There's an EU and USA version, I assume I need the EU one.
I'm using USA and Euro versions.
