It's basically The Last Jedi of games. Just because something does something unexpected doesn't mean it's good. It's being marketed as a Joel and Ellie adventure, instead it was a hoodwink and you play a buff tranny.
As a fan of the original, I will still wait for the user scores on it, but the story looks terrible. I don't care if Joel wouldn't be invincible in real life. It's a fucking video game.

I'll still get it, but I'm really disappointed about what they did to Joel. So boring and predictable, it reads like mediocre fan fiction.

The game is supposed to be pretty long and you can make anything sound like shit in three bullet points so I'm not too bothered about the events that leaked. It's not like the plot was the first game's strong point. I'm still in it for the insane production values.
