Skip 1 unless you intend to play Operate Shooting Star. Skip 4 as well. 3 Blue is the best version. When building a folder, try to keep it to 3 codes or less. If you can't combo or at least get more than 1 or 2 chips per round, you should probably try making adjustments to your folder. Like what don't be afraid to experiment. Have fun and do what works for you!

The less different codes you have in your folder, the more damage you can throw out. That said, you're not going to be anywhere near settling on one code until about 75% through any given game.

I'll disagree with this. I think 4 is okay for one playthrough, it's the extra playthroughs (two for all souls, five for all Navi fights) that push it into the realm of unbearable.

4 is a good game but a terrible fucking Battle Network game in comparison. The last half also feels rushed imo. Might just be my perspective but it was a slog to get through comparatively to the other Battle Network games where I actually had fun and wanted to keep playing.
