Lads how do I beat Sword Saint?
I had another save where I went after Shura end and didn't take me long to master Emma while Isshin was a little bit harder but eventually got him.
I just can't get over how SS plays.
I mean, you could say that about every game that v doesn't talk about. But since when v opinions mattered something?
Had the best bosses in the series barring Bloodborne’s DLC, so no I won’t forget it
Jump on his head when he charges up for the shockwave attack with his spear
Oil + flamethrower during his 2nd phase transition
Yeah, it wasn't that great.
Zero build variety or reason to reply.
I honestly don't understand why they couldn't give us different weapons, I mean enemies can parry you with guns and shit, so why can't you?
Parry. There is no gimmick, he's just testing everything you learned through the game.
>gameplay is all about parrying at the right time
how is this not a QTE gameplay? just because it doesn't show what key to press? when it comes to gameplay its literally the same thing..
Nah bro I loved that game. Still listen to the OST. 100% it last year, maybe I'll play it again in quarantine
>gameplay is all about rolling at the right time
how is this not a QTE gameplay? just because it doesn't show what key to press? when it comes to gameplay its literally the same thing..
Item usage, positioning, special skills and ninja gadgets are a thing. Other than that yeah, it's "QTE" gameplay if you wanna call it that, but unlike a QTE your actions don't change based on context, your block button is always the same, and so is your attack button.
lurk moar

>Parry. There is no gimmick, he's just testing everything you learned through the game.
This. He has power armor. He will bulldoze through one's attacks. I learned that the hard way.
The player is not going to go blow for blow. That shit isn't happening. Parrying is key.
you memorize all his animations just like with every boss in sekiro
people will probably tell you to jump parry the lightning but you can just run away instead if you don't want to risk it
Except for journalism crying about the difficulty, it was forgotten after a month.
Cool story bro
27 April 2020, I am still full price...
Bait his leap attack then side dodge and hit him before he chains it. Watch out for the bullets though.
>single player game
>no online mode
>no dlc shit
> forgotten
Was it gyobou or blazing bull that murdered you user ?
That just means it sold well :^)
Bros how the fuck do I beat Owl in the second fight? I thought I finally got good but this fucker is giving me a hard time. Got like 9 prayer beads so far and still get 2 shotted.
it will live forever as an unforgettable masterpiece
no dlcs, no shitty mp, no season pass, just perfectly tuned gameplay without any bs that rewards skill and punishes dumbfuckery and casuals
Sekiro is truly a gem that will shine forever
You just learn his timings and parry him just like any other boss that has no gimmick to the fight. I don't what else to tell you, except to stop playing game like Dark Souls trying to dodge everything, but you should know that at this point yourself.
Jump backwards to punish his sweep. Dash to the right through his firecrackers at the end of his combo to hit him in the back.
Based
Unbased
keep moving around, mikiri his charge, deflect his attacks and hit him on every opening
when he uses firecrackers move ahead towards his side and attack him, don't try to move backwards or you'll eat the firecrackers 80% of the times
some sugars might help to build less of your posture and charge his quicker
In the second phase attack him when he charges the fire owl attack and just jump his fire owl, keep using mikiri on his charge
when he vanishes keep running around to avoid his attack when he comes back
Hope for dlc
Good, I didn't like it
Honestly I still think Sekiro and Bloodborne are the best "souls" games Fromsoft ever made. It's just that Sekiro has no replay value whatsoever but what is there is pure golden.
It's part of the big three
Sekiro, dark souls 1, Bloodborne
As much as I like DS1 it's just not nearly as polished as the other two. It's a great game but not as good as the other two.
it's a samurai game
just beat it again 30 minutes ago for the 15th time, beat it yesterday too. honestly one of my favorite games of all time, but it still has a lot of issues. wish they didn't copy-paste the same minibosses repeatably, and a few different katanas/armors would make the replayability better. shame they haven't made DLC
>15 playthroughs
How the fuck
this why would you play the same fucking game that many times? It's not like you can make different builds or different type of characters.
