That being said, I am not down for Kojima using celebs in his game in lieu of original characters. All that will do is drive the development cost of the game up, and make things muddier when legal issues and licenses for likeness come up later down the road. Also, I don't give a shit about famous people. I just want an interesting game.

It's a weird game, but I'm one that enjoyed it. I'm not gonna wax lyrical about the plot or Kojima, I just enjoy the setting and surroundings.

I'm playing this rn and I'm actually really enjoying it. I think it's fun reaching every gameplay milestone, first the bike then I stole a truck from the mules and have been using that to make deliveries, then I got robot legs and little robot helpers. It's a shame kojima made the story so needlessly obtuse and crammed all this excess nonsense in it but the core gameplay loop is comfy as fuck.

i really hate the precedent he's setting by using actual actors man. game budgets are bloated enough as it is.

I think if he cut out some of the fat more resources would be spent else where and we wouldve had more of that delivery gameplay in a new map. Every delivery had a different journey, and I now it's the endgame but its all starting to blur together

Yep, did everything except Legend of Legends all premium standard deliveries (had about 300ish to go). Game was a blast and it's been the first game in a while that I've genuinely liked and finished. Most games nowadays feel like total slogs for me so this game was very much worth it for me.

Yes and I loved it. Went out of my way to finish all the roads. Been thinking of platting it just to see all the ornaments and other little surprises. The other day I just did one random delivery before quitting the game and got the regular Sam sunglasses, wonder what else I missed. Crazy I missed something like that when I did at least 40 hours of non-story related deliveries...

Not only did I finish it but I replayed it twice. You must be an absolute pleb to not like this game. Not the "its not for everyone" bullshit. You straight up have a shit taste and like garbage. Built every road, got platinum, legend of legends rank. Played every Yas Forums-core classic and Death Stranding is among them.
