first half of the game you play as ellie, joel's death is fairly early according to the mission listing (I'm sure someone will have the picture), around half way through ellie goes out to find the cult she thinks is behind it all, then you switch over to playing as mrs man through the ending, the "end" is a battle between mrs man and ellie which is that video you see leaked. There was also a listing for an epilogue in the mission list so there's probably more, but not much.

Wonder if you get tranny rage mode like the gamestop tranny or the one that axed those people at a store entrance.

Ellie doesn't die. Abby leaves her and her girlfriend badly beaten but alive after Abby's friend tells her not to continue the cycle of violence.
