Comfy PS3 thread. Do you still play your PS3? What are you currently playing? I play more on my jailbroken PS3 than my PS4.

I play PS3 games on my PC if that counts. I'm waiting for RPCS3 to get optimized enough that I can play GOW 2 and 3

Just found Dirt 3 complete edition brand new for pretty cheap when most online retailers are demading high prices.

I put on Max Payne 3 and that experience single-handedly made me put the whole thing in storage and post it on Craigslist. I fucking loathe the controller, how games look and run, and I fucking hate MP3.

I’ve been playing Twisted Metal, Ninja Gaiden and Bad Company. So much soul, so much kino.

every time I play my playstation I remember I suck at twin stick and go back to PC
death stranding was fun because combat was pretty optional until the end with lots of fighting. Then I tried last of us ps3 on hard (not realistic) and just did fucking awful
maybe I should just play on normal difficulty like a coward, maybe I should just play more and learn to twinstick

Yes. Been playing it daily for the last couple weeks. I was just replaying some old games I liked ie Fallout NV, GTA V, some ps2 classics. I got some console exclusives now that I'll try soon. I love my PS3

I have 4 PS3s.
3 2101s and my main is a 2001b.
All are on rebug. The 2000x is repasted and all but I still have the fans cranked up. Those shitty caps will blow one day I'm fucking sure of it but I have more than enough backups.
I love that it plays my burned PS1 collection, I regularly move around saves from my physical memory cards to the PS3 using my FHDB PS2.
I have a Crash 2 that's 18 years old on my PS3 and vita.
Don't the GOTY versions fix most of the bugs and add K+M support?
Fuck you, the DS3 is one of the most versatile controllers ever made.

oh and could you guys recommend me JRPGs for the PS3? I only know of Ni No Kuni, Persona 5, and that's about it. I was going to download FF13 but that shit is 40 Gigs

You can play NV on a toaster. You can play it on a fucking laptop and it'd run better than it would on PS3.
PS3 exclusives are cool and all but last gen's multiplats are better played on anything else.

GTA V is a fraction smaller with only the singleplayer installed on my PS3, it's the way I prefer to play it even though I double dipped on PC. As for New Vegas I was curious to see how a VATS build would work since the aim on console is shit.

I have one, it's called an A300 deskmini with a 2200G in it that I recently played FNV on just fine with mods.

I've been getting the platinum trophies for a lot of games this quarantine, I wish stupid Sony would do a discount for PS3 games on it's store but nope.

I bought my PS3 ten years ago this month and still use it for blurays and games. The last great consol. Had no urge to get a PS4 and even less interest in the PS5 because its lack of backwards compatibility.

The PS3 was a system that sparked creativity and innovation. All the PS4 did was make the graphics fancier.

I can't think of a single PS4 game that is want to play but I was dying to play all the games for the PS3. Think about it, has there been any series or individual games that come close to the hype of those for the PS3?

what's the verdict on Mafia 2? I saw the clip of the kid playing Mafia 3 and shitting himself but I'm a poorfag so I'll settle for 2. I have been trying to not watch any gameplay and go in blind but i'm open to hear opinion

Playing DS2 SoTF lately and I'm surprised people still play online as I've seen summing sign and got invaded a couple of times.

its real good

one of the few games i completed 100 percent

it's good. takes place in an open world but is actually not an open-world game, it's pretty much completely linear. cookie-cutter but effective mob story. doesn't overstay its welcome either.

I've been neglecting mine, haven't played it in like 2 years. but i got a copy of Child of Light in the mail recently. half the stuff i like on there is just easier to play on PC these days
