She knows WAY MORE than she's letting on. So what's her deal? Is she a time traveler? Was she shown the future by the planet/flowers/whatever? There's definitely some fuckery going on here with her.

she's read the script

It's the whispers they have been talking to her replacing parts of remake Aerith with the OG Aerith.

She has seen my dick and guzzled on it

Aerith has been my waifu since 1997. The last 23 years has been amazing I love you Aerith!

Who cares? It's hackery. They won't rest until they've fully defiled the original classic.

SquareEnix is raping the corpse of FF7 and there is nothing wrong with people liking this

The first game's ending has new meaning after Remake: the entirety of the original FF7 was Aerith seeing a vision of a possible future, and Remake is the immediate followup to 7. Whether it was their original intent or not, 7's ending showing the shot of Aerith from the opening now connects to Remake, signifying her taking what she learned from the Lifestream about the future of the planet and putting it to use in an effort to change events and hopefully have less deaths.

That's why the Whispers show up immediately. It's why the flower she gives Cloud signifies reunion - she's already experienced the entire journey, but she's meeting him for the first time. It's how she knows what he does, Marlene's name, etc etc. Remake isn't a remake, it's a sequel.

You can literally still play it user. Don’t be a massive faggot.

Imagine being this butthurt because it isn't a 1:1 remake

Guess what, nerd? The original Final Fantasy 7 is a bad fucking game. Bad combat, bad overworld. Get fucked idiot.

>First game starts with Aerith staring into a pipe of mako with her eyes already open
>The scene right after meteor and holy is Aerith opening her eyes in a recreation of the intro, as if to imply the whole things was a vision
>Remake starts off with Aerith opening her eyes and freaking out at feeling Sephiroth's presence and with clear knowledge of the original events

TL;DR the lifestream told her

She doesn't know anything more than what she says in the game moron. She literally goes "I don't know" several times at the end.
No one is a time traveler, retard. Nothing of the sort was implied at all.
The planet simply tells her some things because she is Cetra and can comics) commune with it

It was the best a remake could have been, crymore bitch

>tfw the original FF7 was literally all a dream
Screencap this shit

Need help regarding Aerith's bridal dresses.

I already did 2 of her bridal dresses. The 0 sidquests and all 6 sidequests. My question is regarding the last one. People say you need to do 3/6 sidequests for it on Chapter 8. I did 5/6 because of the manuscripts in Hard Mode. Is 5/6 still fine and I will still get the dress I need?

>1:1
Here we go again...

Who cares? She's a homewrecking slut anyways. Plus cuckbait to boot. Her value couldn't be more below Tifa's and I hope she still dies a painful death like before.

>slut
Why do tifafags have to allways lie?

Pretty sure 5 will get you the best one still. Its like 0-2 for the shitty one, 3-4 for the average, 5-6 for the good. Just google it if you want to confirm tho

Watch the OG VII Opening again.

Then watch the final shot of the OG VII ending. I mean the final shot BEFORE Red XIII galloping and shit.

THEN, watch the opening of the VIIR.

Interesting to say the least.

The deal is that the developers and nomura didn't really to actually remake ff7 because that would be too simple/boring.

I can understand why they want to get away from it, there's a lot of pressure And you end up feeling constrained. The problem with the ending of R is that they just did it in a really messy way. Like the reason why 90% of ff7:r is good is because of the combat and the characters/universe/story established by the original game. All the original stuff they introduced are trash - Roche showed up for like 5 seconds and ended up being Japanese anime memery and The way they pulled forward Zack and Sephiroth just makes it all extra confusing to literally everyone. Like I'm not then saying that they shouldn't have don't it, it was just done poorly.

TL:DR from a past FF and square nerd: they hadn't made an actual good FF game or any blockbuster in a decade. Ff13 and ff15 were ok... but literally no one talks about them anymore. KH3 was a jumbled mess. They finally got another AAA title that has or raving... But only by using a 23 year old blueprint from a game that everyone loved and (mostly) sticking to it. Can they pull off the rest of it well? Maybe, but the execution for the ending of ff7:r does not bode well.

Nomura is way too good at retrofitting his own bullshit in games (see KH), so the opening and ending shots of Aerith are pretty important now, as other anons have pointed out.

Yeah I think that could be a good way of explaining it - at the cataclysm when it looks like the world is ending, you see Aerith pop up again, and we go back to the beginning of the game - it's a second chance to redo the events and hope we arrive at a better future this time.

There were a lot of bits they added that were very good -

* Hell House and the Corneo Colosseum
* Madam M was a good new character
* Cowboy Sam was decent enough
* The Honey Bee Inn redesign received praise from all corners
* They did a good job fleshing out the characters and their interaction with one another
* They did a good job at worldbuilding

They couldn’t have fucked up Sephiroth any harder if they tried.

Sephiroth was always shit

The real question is what does he know? He saw the whispers which means he could have had visions also. He also pauses in front of the window where WEAPON blasts his ass into a wheelchair

>* They did a good job at worldbuilding
>hurr I liek ffxiii reject npcs

Exactly. She specifically mentions that everytime the Whispers touch her she loses a part of herself, and it's also pretty obvious that her personality changes more as the game goes on. I don't buy the Aerith being a time traveler theory at all.

They didn't, it's a different person.

This

Way to show you never played the game. FF13 had almost no NPCs or towns whatsoever. It's why the game is so hated.

Makes sense
