both were fun but I agree advanced Warfare really nailed the exo suit mechanics

is multiplayer on PC still alive?

I don't know
there's a few thousand on PS4 even late at night on a weekday

is pilot Hunter full?

never understood how to move like that, played it for quite some time, great game, am casual

do you mean pilots vs pilots?
I got a couple games of it tonight
literally just airstrafe like a source game, because it is a source game

yes it was called pilot Hunter in tf1

How do I know that you have a hard time thinking in 3 dimensions?

he's probably this guy

Advanced Warfare wasn't anywhere *close* to this.

The fact he even survived that long is a fucking miracle. I sometimes have moments of total derp aim myself, but nothing on *that* level, jesus.

Bunny hopping all the way through ivy, out middle and through our connector.

I did.
It's over user.

This looks like one of those shitty games where the vets dominate the casual players completely. Casuals then proceed to quit the game and the vets scratch their heads wondering why their game is dead.

so a good game

Nope, if a multiplayer game is dead that means it's bad game that has failed to keep the majority of the player base entertained.

Who else [[[Spitfire Gang]]] here?

it's not fun. if i wanted to go fast i'd just play quake.

Nah, the high speed and vertical movement of the game means it takes more than just "being good" to have the map awareness to compensate.
If you play the campaign, you end up pretty descent at moving around the map and can catch pretty unawares. It gets worriesome when someone good gets in a titan and takes ages to get taken down, but even if you're just a scrub the map is filled with NPC enemies that exist to get slaughtered so you can call in your own titan or just get a power up you set ahead of time.

do you prefer wallrunning, or surf?

im making a fps platformer game, and cant decide between the two. i like surf, but i feel like it's a bit too abstract, both gameplay and visual wise. i do like how organic and freeing it feels, though.

whereas wallrunning is a tighter and prob more mechanically interesting, but i feel like it's in a lot of games nowadays.

i have bhop and crouch boosting in too. what else would you like to see? prob not a grapple hook.

someone else post webms

>all these controller webms
Gross

while i think surf feels really nice, i think it would be hard to implement in a way that doesn't stifle maps into just being surf maps since you need to long, downward surfaces to get a lot of speed from it. wallrunning is probably better since you naturally hop up to the wall from bhopping and the transition back to the ground is a lot easier since you don't have to focus on the angle you're landing to keep momentum.

feel free to post your own, clearly better clips from the game you have definitely played

By your logic only games that appeal to the lowest common denominator are good, ensuring that they will be thoroughly watered down and generic
