You go to your friends island, buy a shitton of turnips, and you both go to your island to sell them, repeat as needed. Yes it's tedious but it's legit and uses time travel

especially a bamboo island where it's raining. that's extremely rare. but if you bring 50 fencing with you or the bamboo fencing recipe with you and you do manage to find a raining bamboo island you're guaranteed tarantula spawns if you close off the wharfs.

well considering the fact that their cheating has caused Nintendo to change the game for everybody, your point is moot. Cheating in an online game is not acceptable.

To be fair, the tarantula gimmick was clearly an oversight and a truck load of people used it over turnip trading. Same way how people just walked around farming the higher value bugs -- was that technically cheating too? Nintendo isn't exactly the brightest when it comes to balancing.
