Why nobody talks about this? Did it flopped?

Like your mum, it's a pretty object only good for a casual romp.

Yeah it only sold about 8 million units so far and hasn't left the EU charts since release.

It was great, but there's nothing much to talk about. Anyone who bought it probably liked it. It does have a ton of charm though. It feels like a Wallace & Gromit cartoon with the animations and little details.

There were daily threads for like a week or two after it came out. Most liked it but there's not really a lot to talk about that's already been discussed

It sold better than Dark Moon, but it's a one and done deal, and since the switch is full of blockbusters it looks small by comparison.

We had plenty of threads around release. We played it, talked about it, and that's it. Its not very replayable and multiplayer was DOA because it was rushed and has a paywall.

fuck off eslnigger

Damn, Luigi really IS living in his brother's shadow.

i got mansion 3 on release, but couldnt bring myself to finish it, its way too slow paced.
also, ghosts respawning is just boring.

How? It sold better than the last game. Luigi will never sell more than Mario. What fantasy world are you living in?

We were for like months slowpoke

It's a Halloween game. Most people haven't played it since October. You will get more discussion about it next October. It's a decent game, not amazing. I would recommend it if you can get it for like $30.

what are we supposed to talk about? it's a good game, it's successful, what is there more to say?

>It's a Halloween game. Most people haven't played it since October. You will get more discussion about it next October.
wat
That's not a thing.

It sure was more Dark Moon.

It did way better then Nintendo and NLG expected.

>Why nobody talks about this?
It's a fairly short game that got quite a few threads at launch and then everybody moved on.
>Did it flopped?
Fuck no. It was well received and sold really well too. I hope the next Luigi's Mansion builds on what they did right here and they fix up some of the issues like the low enemy count, the overpowered slam mechanic, and the backtracking. The game has a lot of heart and I think their next game could be even better if they listen to criticism again and go wild with LM3's good mechanics.

will i like this if i thought the original was boring?

Oh, and hopefully next time Nintendo fucks off and lets NLG finish the multiplayer next time too. Fuck Nintendo.

i though the original was shit
loved dark moon
the switch version only got me to play about 20% of it me thinks

Luigi is so fucking lame and gay but I love the spoopy ghosbusters style of the game. I wish you played as Mario.

>when the fucking cat makes you backtrack on three floors
>when they do it AGAIN

Normaly, people who like something stay quiet about that thing, people that doesnt like things are the most loud about them this is why negativity sells and thats why you see more talk about controversial games, not yo mention that for some reason people began to talk more about games that playing them.

Luigi's Mansion 3 is a mix of both the games that came before it, taking some of the good and some of the bad of both. I think its the best in the series but some think its the weakest game in the series.

If you ask me, LM3 > LM2 >>> LM1

If you liked dark moon then you'll really like 3. It's like DM but without bad the things and much more creative levels and bosses

Really feels like Nintendo forced NLG to pad the game out, those sections stick out like a sore thumb.

It's a lot more puzzle oriented compared to the first. Don't if that's an improvement or not for you but it's fairly different and I personally loved it.

It's a Halloween game, we need to wait till October to remember that it exists.

It wouldn't work with Mario. He'd be all "Imma not a scared! Wahoo Imma punch and kicka my way through! Yahoo!" The game only works because Luigi is scared. You see his development throughout the games. He's less scared than he was in the first game now

Oh, and like said, the game clearly had a lot more focus put onto puzzles than it did the general combat. It's not a huge deal because fodder ghosts pop up a lot less of time, and the boss ghosts have a lot of mechanics you usually use in puzzles incorporated into the fight. The last two boss fights incorporate all the mechanics into their fights pretty brilliantly.
