I can put the shara waist in for lvl 3 HB and get pretty comfy set up there too, not great damage increase though, I want focus 3 qand I'm pretty sure either WE or Crit Eye isn't necessary since the draw attack gets 100% affinity anyway

Phials are not affected by affinity, they can't "crit", it's a pure damage thing like you assumed.
