TW3 had post launch support and content, plus was a lot to talk about at 150+ hours
BOTW was also very long and had a very non-guided framework, leading to a lot of sharing secrets/stories/etc plus this board is nintendo favored so there was a lot shitposting and fanboying
GoW was good but was about 20-30 hours on average and didn't have that much variation between players.

Most TW3 threads actually aren't about the DLCs though, its mostly about the main game. And TW3 remained relevant even before those came out, GoW should have actually had more longevity on this board since it's given "la best game evurr" by normalfags. But the only recent threads are very insecure validation ones such as this one where a whimpering OP tries to bait and start shit. Persona 5 was relevant from Day 1 to now even before the announcement of the new release. That game is single player. The DMC/Bayonetta games consistently get threads. BoTW was relevant from Day 1 to now. Your excuses really make no sense, GoW just wasn't that memorable or impactful despite game journalists worshipping it.

There's nothing to talk about. The game isn't particularly unique in any way or challenging. All its got going for it is, it's done in one take. People aren't attached to the characters or the story, certainly not the gameplay either. It's just flavor of the month and nothing special.

Yeah Cory never said that in either his exact words or connotations. Kratos in nu-God of War is still the over tough hardass who pays for not being softer on his son. It's more a story on parenthood and how to raise your kids right without changing his personality, the only thing different really is he is trying to be a good example for his son and not let rage over take him. He reminds me of a coach or those dads that never show they are satisfied with their kids no matter how well they perform.

Outside of the honeymoon period where every new game gets called GOTY by some people, I never saw anyone call it the best game ever, beyond obvious shitposters/false flaggers which is most of the board by this point to be fair. Also I have seen a great deal of TW3 talk about the DLCs so I don't really know what you're talking about there.

Also, all the games you mentioned remaining relevant -on Yas Forums- are japanese, which is heavily favored here. It makes sense why japanese stuff is heavily favored on an japanese-imageboard-styled-forum populated by NEETs, but just because it makes sense doesn't mean there isn't significant bias.
Also TW3 was more notable because it was unique at the time, as was BoTW. GOW, while a quite well done iteration of it, was nothing unique.

Sigrun is legitimately one of the best bosses in the genre, but aside from her there's only one other boss fight that is alright and the rest are recycled trash or the tutorials for Sigrun. Like the actual balls on these motherfuckers for recycling that many bosses that were shit to begin with is astonishing.
