Dark souls clone

>dark souls clone
>but with a convoluted fighting system
>and half the weapons/stances are useless
>enemies that can't be staggered
>AoEs that prevent you from having any stamina what so ever
>oh and let's make sure to allow for zero character customization

How the FUCK did this get a sequel?

You forgot
>Sloth + confusion make 99% of the gameplay mechanics pointless

About your question, well, some people like to eat shit; as simple as that.

>(You)

>never played past the first playthrough

Those tactics don't work on harder difficulties you stupid faggot

>"It gets good after the first 100 hours"
If a game isn't good from the start, then it isn't a good game at all. As simple as that.

If it takes you 100 hours to complete the first playthrough then this game isn't for you.

>soulsbabbies jump into Nioh thinking it's dark souls in japan
>get blown the fuck out
>wtf everything about this is so complicated and annoying how are you even supposed to do anything

pottery, just pottery

It says a lot when your game not only objectively a worse game than fucking Coom Vein, but when the Surge fanbase, of all fanbases, looks down at it.

dangerous bait

>SEKIRO IS SHIT
>NIOH IS SHIT
Fuck off with your useless thread, soulfag.

You're going to have to try harder

Coom Vein:
>No Diablo loot
>The world is actually interconnected (even when the individual levels are pure shit)
>There isn't a single spell that makes the entire game trivial and 99% of gameplay mechanics and gear unnecessary.

Masturbation material for greasy weebs got the basics of the genre right, something your game failed to do.

>The world is actually interconnected
Why do soulsbabs continue to act like this is the most important part a game

>No Diablo loot
The loot system in nioh is easily ignorable for pretty much all of ng, just equip the gear with the highest stats and you're good to go, only in ng+ and onward does it get more important than that
>>The world is actually interconnected (even when the individual levels are pure shit)
Who cares? Seriously why is having an interconnected world so groundbreaking when you said it yourself, the individual levels are shit
>>There isn't a single spell that makes the entire game trivial and 99% of gameplay mechanics and gear unnecessary.
I don't know what this is referring to.

Sekiro is actually good though.

Do you poetry? Pay attention to your spelling. No one wants to bang dweeps too dumb to use spell check.

>Cone
>Here are all of these things that are totally different

OK.

Don't know what weapon you think is useless? Unless you are talking about actual drops, but they literally all have use in getting your various resources. Enemies can definitely be staggered and I don't know what AoEs you are talking about. You can also customize the absolute shit out of William.

Pretty clearly bait, but good god man at least put SOME effort in.

Code Vein>Sekiro>Jedi: Fallen Order>Lords of the Fallen>Nioh 1>Nioh 2

it's not the most important part but it's one of the most important ones. It's pretty much the glue that holds everything together:
It makes exploration rewarding
It makes your progression through the game world meaningful
It allows genuine replayability and out-of-the-box builds and tactics.
It makes the world alive and meaningful.

Except if you don't grind you simply can't progress through the game. Nioh only allows two options:
>Grind gear
>Abuse sloth
Sloth being the easiest because it's pretty much a cheat engine-tier resource.
At least Coom Vein got that right. Interconnected world but shit levels, while Nioh got both wrong: no interconnection, the individual levels being pure shit.

>Implying Niohfags played Sekiro, or any of From's games
If they did they wouldn't defend that piece of shit.

Oh man, sorting my weapon drops by level is such a huge grind I just can't take it. Farming ores for upgrades is totally fine though. Also what souls game world would you describe as "alive and meaningful", exactly?

Imagine still thinking Nioh is a Dark Souls Clone even after the second one is out

The second game was a massive commercial failure so I doubt we're going to see another Nioh game ever.

Not a single one of those things requires an "interconnected world" and by itself it adds literally nothing as Code Vein has shown us.

>Except if you don't grind you simply can't progress through the game
This is absolute horseshit for the early difficulties, you barely have to pay attention to anything besides swapping out a weapon for a new one every couple dozen levels.

>This is absolute horseshit for the early difficulties
Why do you lie so much? Why do you think you're forced to grind the the red demon armor at least until you can use sloth comfortably?

Nioh is either grind or sloth. There is no other way, even on NG, because the game was poorly designed and balanced.

>massive commercial failure

Please leave us Surge anons out of this argument.

>Why do you think you're forced to grind the the red demon armor at least until you can use sloth comfortably?
I can't tell if you're being serious at this point. Where exactly in your first play through did you get forced into stopping to grind for this.

Which boss filtered you?

Let me guess, it was Hino-Enma, the boss that filters all you faggots

soulsbabby status: filtered

RESPECT THE ROBOT

What's even the problem?

RESPECT THE ROBOT

quiet, potter

There's never an actual problem, dude. How have you not learnt this by now?

it feels more like ninja gaiden without aerials to me really

>enemies cant be staggered
>convoluted fighting system
how do I know ur shit at the game?

Attached: 1551141789342.png (1000x1000, 1.4M)

To be fair one of the enemies cannot be staggered period and a lot don't budge until Ki Break, while the fighting system is fairly convoluted considering that you don't actually need to do any of it.
