There's this new, long anticipated game coming out from a big developer and I really want it to be a financial success.

I'm really liking how cinematic these games are getting. Gameplay's nice, sure, but having something that's basically an interactive movie is something I've always wanted since I was a kid. It's like actually being part of a story. And this pandering to minorities like gays and trans is all very elegant and you can tell the developers actually care and aren't just pandering.

I wonder how people could have existed back in the days where a game's purpose was just to be fun to play and not some grand artistic message about something relevant. It boggles my mind how the industry could have even gotten this far off of just making things really enjoyable to play, boy I sure am glad we left that era behind us.
