Why did Activision feel the need to remake games that weren't even good when they first came out? Nobody fucking cared about Crash or Spyro anymore and still doesn't.

cope and seethe

but those games sold millions and the remakes also sold millions. so i don't know is this some kind of bait thread?

But those games were really fun

>N-nobody fucking cared about C-Crash, ahoo!

They're all great games, you just have no taste.

As for why Activision felt the need to remake them, probably because they're just sitting on those IPs and not really doing anything with them. Skylanders long ago became anything but Spyro related and Crash was just... Virtually dead.

Starting from scratch with what fucking works is a great way to start a franchise back up.

Good bait.

This is bait, but remaking games that were disappointing would be ideal. There's way more room for improvement than remaking games that were good to start with.
