The one game with a good dub

They were expecting something different from the game, so they got upset because it’s not what they wanted except for embarrassing it for what it is.

And to anyone who says 12 isn’t a real FF game fuck you, from the start I could feel the soul of FF flow through everything in the game it’s far more FF than a lot of the games in the series.

The only JRPG with a dub that surpasses the sub in every way. That's really impressive

Why would you listen to fags who erp at any chance they get and have 5k+ hours logged on tf2?

The title screen music is too good

DQ11 don’t @ me

to be fair though it came out before XIII, XV and all the modern retardation. The main problem was the braindead combat. I mean, it's not like FF combat has ever been exceptional, but being able to just turn on gambits and just watch shit happen is pretty boring.

Final Fantasy fans are all cum guzzling inbreds and their opinions on the franchise should only be taken with a mountain of salt. All of these games are very different from each-other and none of them are bad. Yes that includes XV, XIII and 2

that's just the main theme of the series dude.

>ask about FFIX

why did Yas Forums try to hide FFIX's quality and power level from me?

Great game, only complaint I have is the last parts have weird pacing and feel rushed, like they ran out of cutscene money and had to skip a few scenes to get to the ending.

FFXII has the most challenging content in the series for me. First of all, you're not forced to get to the end of the game to get challenging side-content like all of them, and on top of that there is a ton of them that will kick your ass if you do them as they appear.

I played through the entire game and it wasn't really hard at all. You just set your gambits right and then the game plays itself.

how new are you to the series?

yiff in hell, furfaggot

I played it more than five times and I still get in trouble against hunts. Fafnir, King Behemoth, Carrot, Mindflayer, etc. You need more than the right gambits to defeat them because they change their scripts throughout the fight. Every hunt has 2, 3 or 4 phases that you simply cannot ignore with one set of gambits. Just check them, the AI script is available on internet

The literal fags on Yas Forums only like Nomura titles. He turned them gay, and by god, they will support him for it.

Hitoshi Sakimoto arranged it himself you idiots, not every version of the main theme is good.

>a fantasy game has a made-up character that has a tail
>must be furryshit
Boy do I fucking hate nu-Yas Forums

should have said that the iteration of the main theme for this game was good, than simply just stating "main theme gud"

You expected truth from such liars?

XII is unironically the best one

>Dude what if we made half the playable cast be inconsequential to the story
>Dude what if we made a cast that barely says anything and almost never interacts with each other
>Dude what if we made multiple cutscenes where the main character has no idea what's going on and just stands in the background while people who matter speak
>Dude what if we made a villain who has zero emotional connection to the heroes and doesn't even meet them until the last ten minutes
>Dude what if Star Wars
>Dude what if we gave the narrator a comical Apu accent
>Dude what if we made a political plot and then ruined it by turning it into standard ancient god shenanigans
>Dude what if we made a plot where the heroes have almost no impact on what happens until 95% of the way through the story and spend their time traipsing through non-descript caves and ruins
>Dude what if I'm Captain Basch
>Dude what if we made the sheathing/unsheathing animation stop you before and after every battle
>Dude what if we took everything 100% seriously and had zero levity
>Dude what if we wrote all of the dialogue to sound like a Renaissance Fair
>Dude what if we we had no overworld and all travel was handled by a menu or floating teleport crystals
>Dude what if we made a battle system where you set everything up in advance so that you don't actually play the game
>Dude what if we made summons useless except for opening doors
>Dude what if instead of fun side quests we had only fetch/kill quests like in some generic MMO
>Dude what if instead of having fun side games like the motorcycle chase and Triple Triad we had nothing
>Dude what if we had really shitty music

What the fuck are you even talking about? It's literally straight up theme main theme of the series but with high-quality samples.

It's a love it or hate it game. I hated it when I played it originally, but when I revisited it with The Zodiac Age I ended up like it a lot more.

Yes. So much so that IZJS version used the English dub.

If you're playing through the main story, you can do that, but only if you grind a whole bunch to brute force a few boss checks. If you play, minimal grinding and no hunts, you need to change gambits often and issue lots of commands mid-battle. If you do hunts and no grinding, it's going to be even more gambit changing and strategizing, and if you don't use a guide, you're likely die as you figure out the gimmicks of each hunt. It feels like very basic MMO raiding, which is way more complex than any single-player FF I've ever played.

Most people have shit taste, especially the normies on this board

Do you even know what an arrangement is?

How old is this pasta by now?

Not to mention FF12 is still designed to be playable other ATB titles. You don't need to use Gambits at all. Movement is just annoying at times.

I know, but this arrangement sounds good
Played it since the Famicom days

something that annoys me about ff12 is all the cool shit is barely in the game

Is the dub supposed to be so poorly lip synced or is that a bug?

When was the last time Yas Forums was right??

A few scenes are awkward but nothing like FFX they did a really good job on this one. Maybe they changed it in the PS4 if the frame rate is different I have no idea I’ve only played the PS2 one

if only they gave us the armor sets from the judges

>drace killed
I WILL NEVER FORGIVE THEEM

I-It's ok bruh, FFXIV will fix this

Though DESU for the Zodiac Age they should have fully orchestrated it instead of just using higher quality samples. It still sounds really uncanny valley.

That makes you appreciate the cool shit that much more, the judges wouldn't be nearly as memorable if they were around constantly
