Get rid of the extended intro. Make Knuckles and Fang playable.

"why"

They should just remake every 8-bit Sonic game
hell,even put in Super Sonic

Why what?

>2020
>No good dating sim with Sonic girls
it hurts to live

it ok
but not as impressive as the masterpiece
spark the electric jester

Is Tails narcissistic?

Why remake a game in a way that's only distinct from playing the original in how glaringly inauthentic it is. I'm willing to sacrifice 8 bits to play the real game, it's fine how it is.

It's being developed as if it was a console follow-up to 3. It's bound to be different.

This.

I think I'm going to e-mail this to Sega so that they C&D it.

Imagine having Tails as your neighbor.
Imagine the constant sounds of workshop noise at all times of day.
Imagine your neighborhood being a constant target for Eggman attacks because Tails lives there.
Imagine your property values dropping because of that disgusting eyesore of a house.

Shoulda made it look like his ass instead.
Then he'd have to walk in and out his own asshole.

But he might wind up becoming your bf though.

SEGA isn't Nintendo.
The official Sonic twitter congratulated a fan animation recently.

Just imagine....

This. The devs don't seem to understand that there shouldn't be any real significant delay when starting up a Sonic game, especially not for narrative reasons. Even 3's "opening" only lasted around thirty seconds or so.

If they want to do some fancy cutscene shit to set up the game's premise then they should use other games from the era as an example and have it play after the title screen is left untouched for a set amount of time.

You apparently know absolutely nothing about Sega.

>Not wanting a skip button

His workshop is actually on the edge of town separate from his house

So both Chaos and Triple Trouble are getting fan remakes? That will probably never release?

Thanks now i have to play Sonic Battle and it will likely take up the rest of my day.

I want consistent presentation, not some amateur dev who doesn't understand how the classic games were paced and resultingly fills up a "remake" with shallow cinematics and a tutorial area in a game that only requires one button to play.
That forced opening needs to go. There is charm in doing more with less.

You can already skip it, the problem is that it shouldn't be that long in the first place. At the very least only have it trigger after a set time frame on the title screen like suggested.

Yes.
If anything, I think Blast should be revisited, the 8-bit garbled graphics are the worst part about that game but it could look cool on proper hardware

Fine, replace "Imagine the constant sounds of workshop noise at all times of day." with "Imagine the constant sounds of crying for Sonic keeping you up all night"

Also the terrible gameplay

shit

Was their intention to make the levels look like literal shit?

I remember completing this game. It is ugly as fuck and its broken

How come a franchise with more lows than highs has such an amazing ost quality?

What if we lived in a timeline where Sonic Team produced more highs than lows? Would we have gotten this masterpiece?

That's from the Master System version, ported from the original Game Gear by Brazilians and released exclusively in Brazil. While it increases the screen size, the amount of onscreen colors takes a huge hit. Here's what the Game Gear version looks like. It's still not good, but its a lot better than the Master System version.

This is Sonic Blast, not Trible Trouble
