I didn't grow up with metal gear solid but learned all about it just from TECHNOLOGY threads (which were 80% MGS games), to the point I knew fucking everything about them despite never having played them, then I played the series at last and it was still fantastic and new. non lethal european extreme mode run on MGS3 is one of my favorite video games.
