The Elder Scrolls VI

Where do you want Todd’s magnum opus to be set? What do you expect?

I expect nothing, I've seen all my favorite games and franchises destroyed over the years. So long as I can play my old games I'll continue to do so

Isn't it already set at Hammerfell, also
>still buying bethesda games
It's going to be shit

You will buy.

It's 100% including all of hammerfell and if you think otherwise you're objectively wrong.

If we're lucky they will slap on all of High Rock as well, but that's doubtful.

I'm so uninterested I wouldn't even pirate it.

I expect the game to have characters as bad as fallout 4. Quests as streamlined as Skyrim and combat as bad as obivlion somehow. It will have the greatest dick draining full hdt mods of all time. It will have very nice sandy landscapes.

I'm ready for the Redguards to have no culture of their own and follow the Imperial pantheon :)

I'll most likely buy it, because sunk cost fallacys a bitch and I need to keep up with the overarching TES story. Yeah the story will suck, the RPG elements will be barebones, the NPCS poorly voiced outside 2 celebrity cameos, but fuck it. Todd can hopefully at least try to make it more akin to Morrowind.

I really hope the game starts with the empire having already beat the thalmor and have strengthen their hold across their domain. We haven't seen a real imperial style domain in a while and it would be cool to see a hammerfell Londinium

Skyrim was made as a soft reboot of the setting which is why the time skip is so large. They wanted a new story arc in a new era with a new antagonist. I don't think we're getting rid of the Thalmor anytime soon.

Imagine thinking a game that has taken over 10 years to release will be good

2011 - Skyrim

2015 - Fallout 4

2021 - Starfield ? (this is 10 years since Skyrim at this point)

2025 - New Elder Scrolls

Honestly who ever at Bethesda allowed
over 10 years since Skyrim is dumb. They had the money to pickup a second studio and more people but decided to spend that money on Fallout 76 and two different versions of Fallout Shelter and One Elder Scrolls mobile game.
Cool Bethesda wants us to wait over a decade because they rather diverse into multiple mobile games and a dumb online Fallout. Not interested not buying the next elder scrolls and I’m not surprised if most fans naturally wont because they grew to old and just have no huge connection to a series they haven’t seen since a decade ago (most casual players)

This may be the only time I'll laugh at one of these normalfag wojak memes only because the context is funny.

the gap was intentional for the MMO

TES will never be the same after that and the card game. In fact you're lucky if its similar at all.

Blizzard completely abandoned WarCraft RTS after going those routes.

They're so gonna retcon the Redguards and tone down their genocidal racism.

Bethesda makes shitty crafting and settlement building games now, not RPGs. And the settlement building can never be good because the game needs to masquerade as an RPG meaning there will never be a good interface for making your town, instead you’re stuck with a clunky 3rd person model placing shitty assets and hope they “just work” before your game crashes.

What about Starfield?

Redguards worship different versions of the gods, from the previous Kalpa their ancestors came from.

Nope sorry that's too confusing. Redguards worship Talos and the Divines :)

i expect it to be all of tamriel with some other planes as well.

STROS M'KAI DLC

>2025 - New Elder Scrolls
what? proof?

microtransactionland with its capital the Atomshop™ being fully ist explorable Fallout 76 crossmerchant.

why? they completely butchered it with skyrim online, they don't give a shit about storytelling, so why would you give a shit? Just play the pen and paper game and make your own stories.
>hopefully at least try to make it more akin to Morrowind.
user are you missing a few braincells?

how many fucking times does it need to be said to you retards. they haven't been developing elder scrolls 6 for 10 years. the vast majority of the studio works on 1 game at a time. elder scrolls 6 won't begin full development until after starfield and will take 3-4 years.

and todd has said multiple times they had a vision of elder scrolls 6 they were waiting for next gen consoles to pull off. they needed a much better cpu and ssd read speeds for their vision.

and imagine actually thinking most people won't buy elder scrolls 6 because it is taking too long.

With all the time it is taking it should be, but Bethesda will disappoint

todd, we all know you're a hack that uses 20 year old mmo engines to push out shit games. we're not buying it anymore.

Todd will be dead by the time it releases

>we will never get an antagonist as charming as dagoth ur ever again
why live

Rip Daddy Dagoth

It will be Hammerfell + High Rock and all the surrounding islands because it will have sailing as the big new feature. And because the ocean will be huge to account for the feeling of being out at sea, the landmass size will also increase to keep the map scale the same. Needless to say it will easily be the largest Elder Scrolls yet. This will also help with previous games feeling like a themepark with dungeons every 5 feet.

Two whole different provinces will also be another big back of box feature. High Rock will be a more standard medieval fantasy setting to contrast with the Hammerfell's unique setting. Also it allows for melee/magic users to have entire provinces to roleplay in. With the Redguards being melee oriented and the Bretons being magic oriented. So it won't be like Skyrim where magic users only had a tiny castle related to magic.

Crafting will obviously be expanded on and settlement building will be as well. I don't think it will be as detail required like in Fallout 4. Most people just want a cool looking house with little effort. Not placing every single door and wall. So I expect it to follow what Elder Scrolls Blade's did.

Also expect a character progression system like Ordinator. One of the problems with previous Elder Scrolls was that at around 40 hours or so, long before you exhausted all the games content, you were max level in all your skills and perks so you had to level skills not related to your character just to level to keep up with enemies. This will be fixed with a character progression path for melee/magic/thief that lasts for the entire game.

Get hype.

>locked paid mod platform.
The next Bethesda move it to close entirely the platform so you can't install Nexus mod anymore.

>It will be
You know nothing.
Todd Lies.

I hate how the voices of the villains after morrowind is mediocre

I’ll buy it purely for the porn mods and never touch the actual game

As long as it lets me have a harem of cats and lizards then I'll be a-ok.

Don't get my hopes up just to crush them, user
