I want a prequel, also get rid of the stealth segments where you don't play as spiderman.

A good story, better pacing, much better side content, bosses as good as the Sinister Six spread throughout the game instead of saving them all for the last third

Remove stealth sections with MJ, or make them entirely optional like Riddler challenges so they don't just interrupt the game.
Don't kill peter off to facilitate Miles becoming Spider-man.
In fact, Miles in the first one was already way better than his comic version, just either have him become Spider-man for somewhere else or do his own thing. Peter being replaced never works unless it's a villain replacing him
Add Mysterio, the Goblins, Kraven, Lizard, and Sandman. First game villains had great redesigns but they were nearly all power-armor wearers.
No Avengers in game, but I'll accept smaller time cameos like Punisher and daredevil.
Actually expand and accept Peter and MJ together, don't break them up when the story of the first has so much focus on the two getting together.
Worse, they'll look like their Squenix versions

Kraven, but actually make him a main villain like he deserves to be.

For them to not pull any punches if they do give Peter the symbiote.

If Miles is gonna be playable make his moveset significantly different to Peter's, also in general let the player select who they want to play as throughout the game, they can do some branching paths replayability type shit I guess

Most of the villains I want to show up have been mentioned in this thread already, I think Chameleon could be a good villain for a sidequest or something who's not really combat-orientated as well

That could be the end of the second game, Miles goes off to do his own thing in Chicago. Sort of like the Spider-Man version of Nightwing.

I dropped his comic around when they introduced her. Bombshell started getting super attached to him and I was excited that was going to happen but then it dropped off. Probably resolved in a crossover or something, but I usually don't keep up with anything but a character's main comic.
Regardless I was miffed because they kept shipteasing him with various women and no follow through.

It's so predictable, you'll at as Peter for 1/4 of the game, maybe fight the green goblin or whatever. Peter gets the symbiote, turns evil, you play as miles the rest of the time and have to fight Peter and they'll also throw in a few other villains. Free Peter of the symbiote at the end, they might possibly kill him and then at the end of the game they'll tease venom for the third game

I don't like Miles but playing as a novice spidey and not the genius scientist Parker seems like a nice change. Lower the overall power level of the conflicts and villains involved. Have Peter gone missing/sent to pocket dimension/on an Avengers business trip if they don't want to kill off Peter.

That's exactly what they always should have done. There's this weird thing where they clearly wanted to replace Peter Parker but failed im multiple ways. But him being his own character would be fine, perfect even for expanding Peter's cast of characters. People didn't like Dick replacing Bruce, but people love Nightwing. Doesn't need to be the exact same but it's a decent foundation for what Miles can be.

The "random" crime events got super tedious after awhile, and the photochallenges, the secret photochallenges in particular were just straight up not fun.

IDK how you'd do a sequel without reusing the Map and it not being too familiar/stale, so maybe hace another area to mix things up? Maybe some shit is going on in Newark or Jersey City and Spidey has to go there for a couple missions or something, idk.
