>Dudes you NEED TO HELP EARTH

>REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Wtf lol
Well yeah Earth has humans on it the best race in fiction or otherwise.
>blocks ur path
it's called roleplaying, faggot
Also why transport citadel to Earth. Palaven was in better position, reaper fleet was weakened, they lost a lot of ground there. But we have to attack where reapers at their strongest
imagine being this stupid.
at that point, the reapers could have shut down all the relays and just isolate the galaxy but didint. the story is shit.
You have to help earth, look at this random kid in danger. You must protect him!
you're saying shepard was roleplaying? was it like a fetish thing?
Council races should all die. Human supremacy is the only option.
There was no point in shutting them down. Reapers already controlled all relays
EARTH
FUCK YEAH
AMERICA
FUCK YEAH
GAY SEX
FUCK YEAH
The entire point of a role playing game is to provide a solid basis for said role playing. What if I picked Colonist or Spacer in 1, why does my Shepard care so much about Earth in particular? The kid in the vent is the same way, sure it's a shame but it's certainly not gonna give Shepard recurring nightmares after all the other shit he's been through. The focus on Earth and the kid are just lazy ways of trying to appeal to the player directly and completely disregarding the character they're playing as.
They really fucked the role playing aspect of Shepard in 3 between the constant muh Earth and the tantrum he threw after his scripted loss on Thessia.
>Bioware keep beating the player over the head with "WE CANT WIN THIS WAR CONVENTIONALLY" (Despite fucking killing multiple reapers with conventional weapons through the series)
>Put all their chips in on building the deus ex machina machine
>for some reason the entire game is about building a conventional weapon to "take back earth"
God ME3 was fucking stupid.
Any retard that claims "it's fine and only the ending is bad" is a fucking retard
it's not though, it's stated several times that the Reaper forces are mainly centered around Earth. which makes the most sense, it's a safe spot but not too far from the front lines of other worlds.
How many other colonies does humanity have in ME3? Were they also under attack, asking because the Cerberus controlled one was fine before they screwed up.
but humans are weak fry
the whole premise of fleeing Earth and then going to run errands on the citadel and such was retarded. Who knows how many people die in the meantime if you have the DLC and decide to throw a party
>super advanced synthetic race
>has over 50k years to keep advancing compared to all other known races in the universe now
>"beyond comprehension"
>can still just be shot by spess ship guns and die
Its actually super disappointing scifi. You can tell the writers aren't scifi writers at all. Even in made for TV movie type schlock you'd have an asspulled solution from some overworked neurotic scientist type who experiments with altering universal constants or something far fetched like that.
Mass Effect is like you're getting chased by a Werewolf but then you can kill him with a .22lr.
remember when earth was a overpopulated shithole humans were trying too escape to live on different planets beacuse life on earth was miscible?
on the topic of retarded ME3 stuff
how the fuck did they hide the crucible, a massive galaxy wide investment effort, from the Reapers? Like surely there were supply chains coming out the ass everywhere
Plot armour
>has over 50k years to keep advancing compared to all other known races in the universe now
There were many other cycles before this one, I'd wager the reapers had 100s of thousands of years to advance.
>why is a colonist Shepard emotionally affected when he sees an alien species destroying and killing countless human families just like when he was a kid on Mindoir?
>why is a spacer Shepard emotionally affected when he sees the head of the Alliance completely destroyed, the place he likely had to visit frequently as a kid, with his parents having friends or even family there?
>DUDE IM SPACE JESUS
>EVERYONE FOLLOW AND LISTEN TO ME
Imagine if some random ass American Delta force soldier brokered peace between Palestine and Israel and had them be one conjoined state where its 50/50.
Fuck that retarded nonsense. I much rather deal with the Galaxys underworld. Hence why 2>3 and 1
Probably some of the worst writing in ME3 is when the citadel gets moved to earth but Shepard and crew are still on board the Cerberus station trying to find Illusive man.
For some fucking reason despite the fact that both Hackett and Shepard don't know what the catalyst is yet they move the fucking crucible to earth in case they just happen to find out what it is.
I get it's the final assault on earth but they're moving the fucking deus ex machina they've been building this entire time into a war zone and have no fucking idea how it works or what exactly the final piece they are missing to "fire it" is.
Anyone involved in the writing on ME3 should have their hands cut off to he dissuade them from ever writing anything again.
Why is a ruthless Shepard caring about some dumbass kid hiding in a vent?
Not everything was found by the reapers. This was explained in Mass Effect 1 on Ilos with AI.
Yeah this was such a retarded premise. Why the fuck SHOULD they follow you to save Earth when their own planets are being devastated or in danger simultaneously?
And then you and Udina are like ‘WOW I can’t believe you guys won’t risk your lives for us when you’re already in dying!’ That shit really does make humanity look like the selfish fuckheads the galaxy takes them for, and the writers seem totally oblivious to this.
This, why the fuck wouldn’t the reapers just camp the relays like the lore literally says they did to the Protheans?
We know they’re clearly in almost every fucking system and pop out when you start scanning, but they could skip all of that and literally win by just leaving one reaper at each relay to kill everything that comes through
>>Dudes you NEED TO HELP EARTH
>>Why lol
>>Because the combat is fun
I will now help your planet
If the Crucible got transferred after the final fight for Earth it would make more sense.
Leviathan DLC should have been in the main game and it should have ended with Shepard spitting fire and facts at Leviathans, convincing them to fix their fucking mistake and fight.
And then Leviathans reveal that the Crucible is not a weapon but some sort of mass relay that can pull the Leviathans through from the planet they are otherwise hidden and trapped in. Protheans knew their existence.
Everything else goes the same as vanilla, Shepard races to the beam and barely activates the Crucible while the fleets try to hold on, then Leviathans fucking pour in and wreck everything and get rekt themselves. The end.
rate my shitty fictional ending
?
The fact that anyone on Earth was still alive at the end was bullshit. All the build up for Reapers being the ultimate genocide machines of calamity and destruction. And all they do is just float around very very slowly and fire lasers sporadically. So slowly Shepard has enough time to peace out and fuck around going all over the galaxy playing fetch quest and get back for there stil be an Earth to save. Should have had the game start with the reapers destroying a human colony or world and making their way towards Earth throughout the game.
5/10
Shit.
The REAPERS moved the Citadel, user.
better than what we got. much better
