But the other games are shit
Who has 500 hours to waste on doing the same tedious garbage five times over just for the context of one or two scenes which are by your own admission foreshadowing?
0 was designed as an ideal entrypoint, and that's what it is. It's literally the only thing the yakuza devs ever got right. It's a miracle people get to enjoy what's good about this series with (most) of the shit taken out.
A game with no budget from some nerds in Japan has better minigames than GTA
The game did poorly?
Have the devs said anything about it?
Well they copy and paste the map for every fucking game so they can dedicate all their resources to the minigames. Lazy hacks.
Start with Kiwami, which is shit. You'll probably struggle to finish it. Then play Kiwami 2, which is better, but still not great. Then play 3, which you'll probably think is really fucking bad until you play 4, which is worse. 5 has some good moments but if the series hasn't already destroyed your willingness to go on at this point, 5 will do it. It will crush you.
And THEN you can play 0.
This is the only way to do it and get Yas Forums approval.
Because GTA has an entire fucking world and not just some streets.
The franchise is over, what's there to be hyped about. There's a new JRPG franchise starting in its place but that's not out yet. Judgment is what people are hyped about for now.
They copy paste most of the minigames too
Sometimes even from steam

It did okay, not as good as 6, but not bad either. It's just some spergs spreading their narrative on Yas Forums as always.
>The game did poorly?
No, it did amazingly well. And once it's out in the west it will do even better.
If you didn't play PS2 games on release, you won't get boomer approval anyway. No playing them now doesn't count, it's not the same.
