I think that's too cynical an approach my man. Theres no reason to assume that people working on a project don't ultimately care about the quality of their work. Afterall these 2 guys are doing it for minimal to no compensation.
the RE4 sperg is actually meticulously going through every texture and finding its real version in europe but also using gigapixel AI, he is also doing this all by himself not the other guy has left?
This entire project was funded on donations and has taken countless years, you can't do this same with outsourced "remaster" ports and make back the profits from zoomers

Basically what said. Why do you think the RE3 remake was such a hacked up rush job that came out a year after RE2 remake? Deadlines and getting it out the door
