They're not the greatest rhythm games you can play, but they're good spin-offs if you're a Persona Fan.

P4 cast are confirmed the best - when it comes to dancing anyway, since they had to learn how to do it for real while the P3 and P5 crew just got a magic dream room that let them dance good without much effort.

Your first two points are true, but it could be argued if those things were needed for those games and if they could possibly fit as well given the different premise, but this is just off. Basically everyone except for Rise and Kanji just got a slight variation of their normal outfit and headphones for P4D. There was even an interview with one of the artists where they mentioned they dislike some of the choices made for that game, I'll see if I can find it.

A big problem I remember having with the games is that some of the dancing just looks... bad. Obviously I'm no dance choreographer and being bad at dancing does fit some characters, but fucking hell, I remember getting distracted by Kanji, Ryuji, Teddie, Makoto and Futaba because of their shit moves.
