Don't bullets in cs go curve upwards?

Fixed it for you senpai

Attached: 1551171444370.png (473x768, 135.06K)

just turn the line after the RNG dice into a cone pointing up

CS patterns are set tho or did they change that with GO

Is that...

b44 for tero?

first shot deviation exist.
meaning that your first shot on most guns is never 100% accurate

b44 b82 b83 b84 b6

Except Rainbox Six has a tiny bit of bullettime for some retarded reason.

There is also deviation each shot, and you have extra deviation/spread if you don't stand still.
The pattern is just the baseline along which each bullet is calculated with the spread values.

That's why you can't never get the same exact spray pattern on a wall even with a macro (provided you are at a certain distance for the spread to matter, point blank they will be identical).

I thought the spray in CS was consistent and learning spray was a high level skill?

kek

The CSGO system is the best, tho. 95% of the people who whine about RNG are silver rank tryhards who have never actually had the spread seriously impact their shitty aim. It's like (and excuse the a/n/alogy) an obese guy talking shit about his bicycle. Like, even suppose you had a carbon fiber ultra lightweight $2,500 road bike, what the fuck do you expect to do with it? You can barely push up a 4° hill you fat fuck.

CSlobotomite cope.

Imagine having an entire board getting filtered by the spray pattern mechanic

shut up, fatty

As someone who's only getting older and older, CSGO is really difficult to get good at and stay good at. 2 years ago, I was a DMG and had fantastic aim. After a 1 year hiatus, I was lucky to hit a headshot on the first shot on a non-moving target. CSGO needs a consistent and insane amount of time poured into it to stay good at it. Some people just don't have that much time. I've been playing a lot of R6 lately, and aim definitely doesn't feel like it's as much of a factor as in CS.

R6 is a completely different game and I don't get why do people insist on comparing the two. One is, well, Counterstrike, and the other is a tactical team-shooter. People who try playing R9 like it's CSGO (or CoD) just get instantly shut down because that's just not how the game works. Having good aim helps, but everything is such a close range clusterfuck that just having spacial awareness (and better teammates) beats even an aimbot

The problem with CS' recoil pattern nonsense is that it's a really obtuse, hard to learn mechanic that the base game doesn't offer tools to teach in a game where on a good round you'll probably get maybe one or two kills if that and then you'll have to wait two minutes if you die.
BFV also has recoil patterns but they don't bother me in the slightest both because BF is a game where you jump right back into the action immediately after dying and the way it works (your sights actually kick with your recoil) it's a lot easier to feel out where your rounds are going/how to control recoil quickly.

I COULD spend a few dozen hours in a training map trying to figure out exactly how to control the M4A4's spread but CS' gunplay also feels like absolute ass so I don't really feel any particular drive to.

>I played cs:go for 3 hours and I sucked :(
>waaaahhh must be the recoil pattern!!
git gud battlebabby

>you jump right back into the action immediately after dying
also you're a complete fucking retard because that's exactly what the Deathmatch gamemode is. You idiot. You fucking imbecile.
Thanks for proving my point from , tho.

So Battlefield is the only series that does bullets right?

Someone should make an Escape From Tarkov one where it's shooting no bullets. There exist two separate fucking bugs in the game where your gun will stop firing while you're holding the mouse button.

The biggest problem is that it's presented ass-backwards visually
You pull down the gun and the crosshair stays in the middle, instead of the crosshair jumping up and you having to keep it in the middle
Gives you better feedback about what's actually going on

same
on top of that the overall skill of the community keeps increasing like dota
back in 2015 silvers would eco for an awp and lose it the third round and afk until the end, now they preshot, give infos and somehow use flash without blinding themselves

Since when is Yas Forums full of retarded babbies?

Doesn't CS weapons always make the same pattern?

realism =/= fun

>people talk about gamedesign on a video game discussion forum
>lmao insult them
what

No, see, that's the thing. I'm not saying they should change CS because it has its niche and shit and at this point and nobody should take that from the players but I don't want to play it because it feels like ass and I don't really want to put the time in to really learn the gunplay because of it.
It's bizarro gun-feel. felt recoil, the screen kicking upwards makes a gun feel impactful. CS' shit where your bullets start hitting above your crosshair but felt recoil is comparatively minimal makes them not even really feel like guns to me.

Beginners should be tap shooting and burst firing any way. If you burst fire, you only need to pull down slightly. Being able to spray effectively is an advanced technique that not even pros can do 100% effectively, so it raises the skill ceiling.

So you shoot someone in pubg, call them a tranny then disconnect? Woof.

what

>someone didn't praise my favourite game
>I must now sperg out
what is it with cs players and their autism

no it does not

My $50 skin that I spent $1000 to obtain compels me to defend shitty mechanics.

Implying CS gunplay is fun lole

>CS objectively has the least random inaccuracy of any game listed
>hurr durr it's all random
When will you stupid niggers stop? You've been peddling this retarded shit for like 5 years now.

>I don't want to play it because it feels like ass
This is an anonymous imageboard, you're allowed to be truthful: You don't want to play it because you installed it once, tried casual for like 5 rounds, got like 3 kills 16 deaths every round, and got ultra butthurt because every time you died you had to wait 3 minutes to play again. You are a dumb CoD/BF kid who only ever played games that pander to casuals, so now that you faced an actual challenge you ragequited and have come to sulk about it on Yas Forums.

And hey buddy I don't want to insult you, everyone is shit when they start. So here are two PROTIPs: 1. take SMG and do spray-n-pray 2. play just enough casual so that you can go into competitive, then go into competitive. You'll be unranked at first, so all your opponents (beside the occasional smurf) will be just as bad as you are, so you'll stand a chance and actually have some fun.

Objectively wrong lmao
>Strafe side to side at all
>Accuracy goes to shit
LE SKILL

Filtered

>its the best because its the game I play
fucking moron

Shut the fuck up retard, I'm not that guy I just have to respond because you're that fucking stupid.
CS is gay and boring, stop projecting your insecurities you little DMG dipshit,
PS: I play Quake like a real man, a game where I can MOVE AND SHOOT.
Seriously, playing CS? Might as well play Time Crisis because moving and shooting is too difficult for CSLobotomites.

what does not

1v1 me in Q3 see who gets filtered, bitch.
Guaranteed you can't use both your hands at the same time, because moving and shooting is too difficult for CSbabbies.

The bullets don't come from the barrel in CoD either

Yeah it's like you're shooting from out of a cone where it's more accurate the closer you are to the target, but at the distances where rifles are unreliable you should be using a sniper/scoped weapon.

I really don't get the contrariarism on against cs, it literally has the least rng shooting mechanisms out of any fps. Let's take battlefield as an example: you fire from the hip and the bullets fly wherever the fuck they please without any pattern. When aiming, the gun isn't still 100% accurate and it also has recoil randomness, neither of these two have a set pattern. Call of duty has hipfire and random recoil as well.

Not him but it feels like ass for the reasons explained in this thread
But yes user continue feeling superior about being a pro ebin gamer that has mastered the art of cs gunplay instead of actually discussing things for once

What's Q3?

You shoot and the recoil makes you fire higher. It's literally that fucking simple. You then compensate for it, which becomes extremely natural in short order (at the initial pull-down does).
If you don't understand why the crosshair should never leave the centre of the screen, you're a fucking child that's barely played any FPS in your life.
Yeah, to the point that you reliably cannot hit anything with any weapon that isn't a bullet hose. You're not supposed to move and shoot. Would you rather they lock you out of moving and shooting entirely, or make it a part of the game that certain weapons and situations can compensate for.

PUBG simulates ballistics pretty well when the game is functioning

took me a second, good one

Attached: 1550158147601.jpg (612x612, 156.51K)

Holy shit this is new. And it is the dumbest fucking bullshit I've ever heard. CS doesn't do "MOVE AND SHOOT"? That's literally, objectively, false. That's just not the observed reality of the game. What the fuck are you even talking about? Literally ANY gameplay video of CS on YouTube will INSTANTLY disprove your bullshit. Go fuck yourself.

>whataboutism

I don't get the pubg.

>It's skill to have random nonsensical patterns come out of your gun
Half the game's skill curve is remembering invisible fucking shapes.

The other system works the same except it'S presented better
>If you don't understand why the crosshair should never leave the centre of the screen
it's easier that way yes

No, when you zero in BF you're selecting the point where the bullet reaches the apex of its flight and then begins to drop, IRL when you zero a rifle you're selecting a range beyond the apex of the bullets flight where it drops down again to meet your sight, so there are actually 2 distances where your sight picture is accurate to where the bullet will hit on the vertical axis instead of one.

Bullets in BF also travel very slow compared to the IRL round and have less drop than real life for rifles and SMG's and way more drop for snipers.

Kek

Here at least, it used to be an intentional troll made by people who know it works to get a rise out of people. Like every fucking part of this cursed board, this soon deluded the casual retarded into thinking they were in good company and that the game somehow had actual RNG. You wound up with a wave of people who'd literally never played CS who genuinely believed the fire was completely random, like Battlefield, who kept spamming it as if it was truth. This slowly filtered down to the level we're at now.

Subtle yet effective

>implying he's wrong

Attached: 1587898592878.png (473x768, 148.65K)

underrated

No, you stupid nigger. Play more games. The purpose of the crosshair is to provide the centrepoint of the screen reliably.
The crosshair widly jumping around does not provide your brain with useful information. At best you would be attempting to keep up with something that's happening faster than you can actively react to it. The crosshair staying where it is gives consistent, immutable feedback on your actions which will over time improve your ability to do whatever it is you're doing, be that shoot or compensate for recoil.

something about connection lost or something

>fps mechanic thread
>cs grognards come into the thread shitting and pissing their elitism everywhere without even reading posts or composing arguments
every time

No, unironically. The gunplay feels like shit. CS guns do not feel like guns in any other shooter ever made (save valorant, which is actively aping CS to poach some of the game's scene) and they certainly don't feel anything like the actual guns they're emulating.

I'm bad at CS. I could learn it, I honestly don't really want to devote the time because I don't think I'd really enjoy the investment return. I'd rather play Quake. At least the skill gate mechanic in that game is actually cool once you put the time in to learn it.

>The purpose of the crosshair is to provide the centrepoint of the screen reliably.
>he doesn't know where the middle of hiss creen is without a fucking crosshair showing it
I recommend getting good
>the rest
yes the screen stays clear so you get more visual clarity and it's easier instead of actual recoil obstructing the view
