just preorder on steam and refund it if bad

>Preordering games

Expect a game anywhere from a 7 to a 9. Don't expect it to be the next coming of christ.
If you like Witcher, you'll probably like this

Imagine Cartman roasting your ass. I'm not posting a picture.

Give me Bug wife!

Don't preorder anything.

>Is this going to be a letdown?
Yup probably. It looks like the most generic uninspired garbage.

just wait till it comes out
if it's release day and you still want it, buy it

Witcher 3 is somewhat generic and its a fantastic game

Why would you pre-order?
It's not like they're not gonna release the game, and you're gonna buy it digitally so there's no chance they'll be out of stock.

So far it looks nice, I hope they go for a more Deus Ex-sque.
I didn't like Witcher past 1 but they were not bad.
I think it will be a 9.
You should never preorder games, it's stupid.

It looks kinda generic honestly

I love how they said it was far more like an immersive sim than they expected. I'm pretty hyped.

Generic compared to what? Only game like it is Deus Ex, maybe Arkane games in design philosophies

you're a retard

>it doesn't have to be at night
>it doesn't have to be in a large city
>it doesn't need to be 3rd person
>it doesn't need to have the different classes

>It doesn't need accessible interiors for buildings
>It doesn't need to be free of liberal bullshit
>It doesn't need to have good customisation options
>it doesn't need to have real dialogue choices
>it doesn't need you to be able to join different factions
>it doesn't need to have killable NPCs
>it doesn't need to have Trauma Team as a gameplay element the player can use
>it doesn't need to have destructible environments

>it doesn't matter that CD Projekt Red is staffed by Americans now
>it doesn't need mod support

WE ARE NOW HERE
>it doesn't need dynamic weather systems
>it doesn't need to have a branching story
>it doesn't need to have massive crowds of people
>it doesn't need to have substance

to Yas Forums any and every game is a letdown.

Nice argument faggot

People misuse generic all the term. They think it's an insult or something.

We barely know it's a Deus Ex clone at this point. Everyone assumed that in 2013, but it looks a lot like GTA instead. Open world will impose it's shenanigans.

Half of these are in the game

It's just TORtanic posting, literally every new game has it nowadays on this fucking board

Still don't preorder it, just wait until it actually comes out and see what's being said about it

Why do you need to pre-order it?
The internet is not going to run out of copies. Seriously, explain the logic to me.
If it has anything to do with 'not having the money on release' kill yourself

We've seen gameplay. It's more akin to Deus Ex than GTA, you'd have to be retarded to think otherwise

I still don't get the GTA memes, because you can drive cars and it's in California?

Open world, mostly. And Witcher 3 is very popular. I'm baselessly assuming they'll want to imitate that. Inb4 SJWs can't into make storytelling. The bastards.

idk even then a GTA with rpg elements wouldn't be that bad, but then other than a few cherrypicked images it doesn't really look like a GTA
I don't think the story will suck after all it is based on an old as fuck rpg with an established world and lore
they adapted the witcher and created their own story on top of it succesfully so I don't see how they wouldn't be able to repeat the feat

Because it's popular. Yas Forums loved CDPR before Witcher 3 got popular, not to mention all the newfags that think this place is about being a huge prick

Lies

I'm kind of betting on the seemingly based nigger. Maybe someone will sneak actual storytelling in. I'm only playing the complete version anyway and only if the consensus on the story is at least above mediocre.

Because CDPR said they want to be the Rockstar of RPGs. Or "emulate their model".

gamesindustry.biz/articles/2016-04-27-cd-projekt-games-will-follow-the-rockstar-model

Have you been following the game at all you fucking moronic piece of shit?

Don't forget the trolls poking things. Them Disco Elysium threads were pretty fucking embarrassing, and this is even more retarded.

>It doesn't need accessible interiors for buildings
>It doesn't need to have good customisation options
>it doesn't need to have real dialogue choices
>It doesn't need to have good customisation options
>it doesnt need to be an RPG
>it doesn't need you to be able to choose different childhood heroes
>it doesn't need to have a branching story
>it doesn't need to have massive crowds of people
>it doesn't need to have substance
It has all these things, last one presumed since Witcher had it

I hate how people always project their own fears onto whatever CDPR says. They ONLY do this with them for some reason.

>"The Witcher finished with 80 people, The Witcher 3 finished with 250, so Cyberpunk will probably be even more. Don't think about scale in terms of us doing 20 projects; no, we'll focus, we'll focus on certain things... We don't want to be a 10 project studio. The Rockstar model is nice."

Half of these don't make sense. "It doesn't need to be at night." Did people actually expect the entire game would take place at night?

Disco Elysium was pathetic. They'd complain about one political stance but the dialogue option for the complete opposite would be right there next to it.

I read it a bit and they just said that they wanted to emulate Rockstar's way of working, not their games per se.
Which is something we already know and that they've always done.

Yes, morons think that cyberpunk = night with neon

Never ever preorder anything, even if you 100% want it.

It is what started the slide back in 2006.

I don't like Rockstar games but they're focused, no doubt about that. Biggest issue with getting bigger is losing that focus, and CDPR is growing fast. As long as CDPR stays clear on their focus on writing and questing I'll be happy

It's no different than newfags complaining about "diversity hires" after witcher3 that where actually people who worked on witcher 3

>jaded gamer still living in 2006
lmao

It honestly pisses me off the anti shilling against CDPR. I would never worship a company, but they don't do greedy lootbox shit, don't do DRM, and have actually worth it expansions.

It does look cool. Deus Ex wasn't into daylight at all. The bastards went and ruined it in later entries.

I don't know why for some people it seemingly doesn't compute that ll the MUH DIVERSITY and such are just part of cyberpunk. It's not CDPR going crazy, it's just them staying true to the property. People have ideas what cyberpunk is in their head and ignore this is based on Cyberpunk 2020 specifically.

culture warriors are invested in trying to make everything controversial

And People just think it will be fill of SJW bs because games jurnos took CDPR's quotes wildly out of context

>We don't want to be a 10 project studio.
it wasn't ten, but they tried to diversify. it didn't pan out, sadly.

Attached: 600x600bf.png (600x600, 750.88K)

They think an SJW marketer new hire has some kind of say on the game itself, competely ignoring that the Animal gang is mainly minorities from what we've seen

Probably why they restructured after that came out

Night is cool and deus ex did a good job of having that atmosphere. But open world game all in the night the night probably would loose it's luster very fast.

gangs are mostly minorities, cali is mostly minorities
pans out

Your Charcters gender will still be in the game it will just be Saints row style where it's not tied to the body you pick

I'm getting PTSD flashbacks to Saints Row 4

who are the waifus in this game

>childhood heroes
>Still in the game

LMAO they already said those are gone retard

The actual reason is that so-called SJWs impose a certain type of culture that will not tolerate your typical kinda-schizoid male writer in their midst. They are the ones who write engaging fiction. They aren't gonna outsource this either. Also, where is ma Elden Ring?

The point being that if this was Bioware, their would be either a different name or primarily white's
