>A ragtag group of cursed refugees avoid a hostile army as they set off to save their loved ones who have been trapped inside of crystals by gods. Why did so many brainlets struggle to understand such a simple story?
How many brainlets got filtered by the apostrophe in l'Cie?
>literally every WRPG in decades stashes tons of background lore in the codex >no one minds >some jrpgs, like Bravely Default, do this too >no one minds
Why did you throw a fit when FFXIII did it?
Isaac Russell
user, XIII, like Resident Evil 6, were dogpiled by brainlets who were mad at these games for doing the same shit they've been doing for a while in their respective franchises. People were expecting them to be something they weren't and getting buttmad when Final Fantasy continued to be convoluted and melodramatic and Resident Evil continued to be a campy horror themed action series. It's happening again with Remake. It will always happen the loudest here.

Fuck you if you can't tell the obvious decline of a once great series

You already made this thread.

Fuck you for uncritically keeping opinions you had as a child and assuming the problem is with someone else.

You can't even name one thing RE6 did right.

>you can't name one thing that meets my subjective and undefined standards. Yep. Busted. I really don't see any point in continuing all of this. You're only here to change my mind by regurgitating talking points you likely read here and if we're being honest, I could argue your side better than you could. If you really want to know what redeeming qualities these games have you could always do a Google search. Unfortunately that won't confirm your bias so I doubt you'll do that. After all you've had most of a decade to do it already. I'm sure you'll continue to find enjoyment in repeating what you've read here.

Because all the dialogue was doused with in universe lingo and several of the conversations were redundant to the point of confusion
