Worst part about this game is that if you manage to get resource starved on a mission the auto save feature doesn’t record your current count of anything. So say you use up all your ammo after hitting a checkpoint, reloading to that checkpoint doesn’t reset your ammo count to where it was prior to that point, it still counts as being used. It does the same thing with ALL consumables, effectively trapping you within a mission you’ll never be able to beat because the game further starves you.

Evil Dead is legit funny though and Army is an-time B-movie classic because they knew what they were doing. Dead Island is just painful to play and the "story" is absolute gibberish written by drooling morons. I haven't played it but you're assuredly better off playing something like Ride To Hell if you want to play shit that badly.

I played through it a couple weeks ago after never playing it before. It's a little jankie but I got used to it and enjoyed myself / time in the game well enough. I plan to play riptide too but I'm grinding up to lvl 50 first before I transfer over

I actually enjoyed it. Aside from the repetitive quests, it felt like a nice dungeon crawler sometimes and some environments were terrifying. The blood pool sticks with me to this day.

It was stupid fun, but mostly as a dick around game. Really lost momentum after the first area. Dying light was basically a straight upgrade in every way. My only gripe is that dead island had a setting that let you control your swing direction, mordhau style.
