How would you remake Resident Evil 4 to make it better?

the point of the remakes was to depart from the old style of static backgrounds and emulate the style that RE 4 made popular, there hasn't been any significant upgrade in the gameplay since to justify this remake
it'll be sort of a different game but with still very similar gameplay and a rehashed story, pointless and lazy

Changing the archaic controls

Just say fuck it and make it an action FPS and add triple the amount of guns and upgrades.

Scrap the entire original concept and make it an actual Resident Evil game. Survival horror. Fixed camera angles and tank controls. Limited ammo. No incentive for combat. Puzzles and backtracking. Closed off environment that snakes around and back in on it's self.

Add at least 2 more full village areas including a more extensive set of houses.

Enable suplex on villagers. No one liked the specific lower A attack that Leon did for them and oddly changed for castle monks and island soldiers.

I have no other changes. Upgrade the graphics but nothing else.

This, but keep it a TPS and expand on RE6's core gameplay.
Fuck off. This kind of thought will only make the remake worse. If they remove the melee moves I swear to god capcom has lost any and all touch.

The entire pile of shit needs to be deleted. RE 4 poisoned the series for years with action bullshit. It's not a fucking Resident Evil game and has no place in the main series continuity. They have a chance to fix the original mistake that nearly killed the series and make up for years of shitty RE games (4, 5, &6)

I want the game to have the zombie gore technology from REmake 2. Also, make Chief Mendez a stalker enemy like Mr. X. Basically just take a lot of cues from REmake 2.
