game is stupid hard

Yeah, but its fun.

As a kid I liked Michaelangelo, but I grew up to appreciate Raphael a lot more.

Also the remake of Turtles In Time was soulless.

BASED. The only Turtles game better than the original is III.

I just want them back bros...

My cousin used to lie to me and tell me you could unlock Slash as a playable character

I always hated kids that did that. Did they do it for attention? or to sound cool and knowledgable? Or were they just being assholes?

how come they haven't made a good TMNT game with co-op or multiplayer for more than a decade?

A beat 'em up game with co-op shouldn't be hard to do

you could if you weren't gay

The franchise is kinda past its prime.

I beat it as a kid so it couldn't be that hard but then again I also beat Street Fighter 2010 and people about that game being hard too.

Not really. Just study your surroundings and don't rush everything. Also Donatello is your obvious MVP so protect him from dying at all costs.
Mike is the absolute worst character and should only be used for the swimming section until you get him boomerangs or scrolls to make up for his shitty weak 'chuks.

Is this the last good TMNT game?

Nickelodeon owns everything regarding TMNT now and they don't want to do anything but the bare minimum with the IP like they do everything they own. Never expect the Turtles to be cultural icons ever again or have any good games.
They flubbed the newest series so bad it bombed and the toyline got cancelled before it even released.

SNES Tournament Fighters was.

if you made it past the hard middle part and still have Donatello for mouser the rest of the game was a cakewalk

And I want a TMNT game by Itsuno's Devil May Cry team, but you know Viacom. They are not going to be doing anything.

And sadly knowing the current state of things Viacom would only fund the creation of new TMNT games if they can be multiplat on ALL platforms so that means for the weak puny Nintendo Switch with outdated hardware. What a shame because a next-gen PS5 or Xbox Series exclusive game fully taking advantage of the graphical power would be exquisite. Which begs the question what graphical style suits a next-gen TMNT game? Stylistic or realistic?

>Nickelodeon owns everything regarding TMNT now

Except Next Mutation from what I hear because Saban refuses to ever sell the rights.

I always wanted a b&w look that mimicked the first Mirage issue, but people would say it's not colorful enough and Nickelodeon would never want to reference Mirage Turtles like that, especially when it comes to the violence.

As a kid I liked Mikey.
I never grew up emotionally so I still like Mikey :)

Hyperstone Heist was better.

Platinum made one a while ago but I think the license to distribute it expired. Not sure about that last part though.

The Shredder appears before you and demands you pitch him the absolute most perfect modern TMNT game realistically possible, or he will SHRED you!

Toy sales have been going down for many years now even before Rise of TMNT. Look at Ben 10's reboots, the toy sales for those are also very poor and I'm not talking about the latest reboot but Omniverse. Boys like videogames much more these days compared to action figures. But quality videogames with worthwhile sale value require effort and a notably budget. The Jews at Viacom and Nickelodeon will simply never agree to do such a thing. You're lucky that the turtles had guest appearances in that DC game but that's because that's all they were, guests so little effort was invested in getting that done compare to building up a whole new game engine, design environments, and make a lot of models for TMNT exclusive content.

Tournament Fighters remaster when??
And I don't mean just uprezzed and filtered, I mean redrawn HD sprites.

Transformers are still going strong even when the movies aren't in the public eye. The problem with the Turtles is that they were allowed to stagnant for too long after the 2003 series ended and they haven't had anything as good as that series since then. The latest series being horrible didn't help matters.

I thought 2012 was a huge popular hit?

Stylistic 100%. not even a question. Slap some good cel-shading in there and thick lines for effects and give it a comic book/cartoon feel. Shit would be cash.

>Nickelodeon would never want to reference Mirage Turtles like that, especially when it comes to the violence.

Sad but true. Also who is the idiot who decided that "Animal characters? Pfft that's for brats." Animals lead frankly more violent lives than humans, just watch some National Geographic and see some of that. I blame Disney anyway (the creator of Bambi for example hated Walt Disney because Walt Disney grabbed his book and forced it to have a family friendly film when the book was never like that and on top of that Walt Disney legally made sure the creator of Bambi not only saw no royalties for his work but also forbade him from ever making another deer character again effectively stealing Bambi from his creator in every way). Companies like Disney make animal characters very stupid and family friendly and on top of that Disney is also responsible for western animation being infantile garbage so we'll never see the Mirage Turtles animated in a truthful adaptation outside of Turtles Forever where they never showed off their potential for violence.

It made a small splash but it petered out after the second season. You didn't hear random people talking about it did you? Stuck on a kid's network isn't going to help the franchise either as it's never going to be seen as 'cool' again.

I would only like a realistic TMNT game if only to see Alopex's fluffly fur being given form. If they can nail her fur and fluff correctly? I'm buying that.

Also the IDW comic turning from great into a furry pandering comic for sick fucks like isn't helping it.

With the next-gen power? I'm sure it could look like a living breathing cartoon comic mix in the literal sense since we're very close to that already at least going by Dragon Ball Fighter Z. And speaking of that THAT would be the ideal style of Sly Cooper (really don't like the flash style from the last game).
