The song itself is actually made after the bosses phases, so as you fight, the song keeps changing. The melodies fit with the song going from struggling to fight him once again to concentrating, while an epic chorus plays in the background.
As much as I'd like to say it's one of the best boss music tracks ever made, I merely have a subjective opinion.
