I didn't like the conflicting art styles, and when I see an image of the game absolutely no music comes to mind. I remember it played well, but can't recall any environments I enjoyed being in.

The former games actually designed platforming challenges for you to complete to progress, the only remotely challenging portions of this game are optional and at the very end.
You're just baiting this because it's difficult to qualify how difficult a game is and compare.
But Oddysey is more like an easter egg hunt collectathon; all nintendo platformers have become like this. It's more about finding hidden objects and figuring out how to get to them than just executing your maneuvers.
Also the broodals or whatever being the same shit on repeat was lame as hell. Remember when Kamek would power up repeat bosses and it would be different?
Shame Oddesey has the best feeling, best controlling Mario and would have had the most satisfying platforming but Nintendo left it on us to make those interesting/ demanding challenges ala balloons.

No, it's got the best CONTROLS, but the actual levels don't ever let you make use of it to great effect.

Accurate. The impression I got from this game was that some modders decided to make a mario game with the Cryengine.

Too many moons acquired too easily. It's like they didn't think people would play if they weren't constantly being rewarded with trophies.

The truth is people want the switch to be the second coming of the N64 with BOTW for OOT and Odyssey for SM64, but the truth of the matter is that the switch isn't even close to as good as how the old N64 games were

The art style of Odyssey is fine and it's greatly needed after the plastic, cookie cutter designs of NSMB and SM3DL. The locations look great, and so are many of the characters. Unfortunately, the highly realistic designs for several characters, such as the New Donkers, T-Rex, and Dragon, just don't work. They seem like generic assets were put into a Mario game. They should have gotten Yoichi Kotabe or another artist familiar with the style to design them properly.

Mario games and spin-offs have always had realistic looking areas or are you going to sit there and tell me the literal real world city used for the skybox in wet dry world doesn't exist? Everything in Odyssey fits perfectly within the mushroom world.
