Most Steam games already work with it out of the box
For everything that doesnt just use DS4Windows to make the game think its a 360 controller, DS4Windows also allows you to disable the light bar (or give it a custom color) and use the touchpad as a mouse pointer

To pair the controller with your PC just use a USB cable or if you have a Bluetooth dongle hold share and the PS button till the light bar starts flashing, then pair it with the windows bluetooth pair settings
