Dark Souls sold 5.6m in LIFETIME. Reeditions included. That's only slightly more than FF15 in a SINGLE DAY. What a fucking flop.
Looking at the PSN stats (which is the most reliable metric of player counts) it took FFVIIR less than ten days to reach 3 million players, while it took XV almost a month.

You keep making this thread but it won't change the fact that FFXV will always be seen as a disaster outside of some DLC being good, while FFVII-R will be controversial at worst over the plot changes.
