>hey you know that deal i was gonna make with the omertas? >or the one with the van graffs? >or my mole at camp mccarran? >and the nelson campaign i was probably gonna win hadn't you come along? >you know, all those things you fucked me over about? >it's all cool lol >also take this chip and go do the delicate job of destroying a massive robot army that could screw me in the future even though i have a literal fucking army that can do that and other tasks i'm gonna ask of you despite having proven time and time again that you cannot absolutely be fucking trusted and despite the fact that i could have you minced where you stand after all the shit you've given me
remind me why this game is praised for its writing and consequence of action again?
The issue here is his reaction, it's as if Alexander the great decided to turn back during Gaugamela because a persian warrior came up to him and said "Persia big!"
Juan Kelly
You fags love to intentionally miss the point and frame this shit in the most brainlet way possible. Why not simply critique what actually is there instead of making shit up?

>legion as a whole is barebones: few quests, few NPCs, no companions, few locations >i-it's all beth's fault guys, o-obsidian would've fleshed out legion more had they been given more time, i swear! alexa, define "cop-out"
He did just stand on a hill, watching a small army of his troops get turned into a fine red mist by a mailman sure, the argument is shit, but figures he knows when to back off.
Not really. For one, the battle is literally already lost for the Legion by the time you arrive at his feet.
The main speech option thread of conversation also deliberately pulls at his weaknesses/fears about Denver. The Legion was nearly broken there because it was such a difficult campaign and they lost so many people, and Lanius himself was the one leading that effort on the ground. Posing to him the idea that he'd be losing one of the most hard fought and horrific experiences of his life for the sake of claiming a western land that has already proven as difficult, if not moreso, at the point where the battle tide is turning to a loss, makes perfect sense.
You are just seething about people mocking President Abomination of Science.
Noah Price
Also its to be reminded that Lanius didn't want his title/reputation to be "marred" so to speak by a defeat just like Joshua had. Even Ulysses points that out at the end of Lonesome Road. Instead of taking a loss, he'd rather leave it at a ceasefire to regather the strength of the Legion.
Christian Stewart
Legion in general feels poorly written and handled. I wonder if Van Buren Legion would have been better.

>it’s another post-ironic “dude New Vegas is shit lol” thread where OP thinks he’s being contrarian and badass but really he’s just following the trend that every retard on Yas Forums is following Oh good I love reruns
