its xcom jrpg but your units dont die
the character variety is pretty solid but you dont get to make your own characters
you can get a beast trainer somewhere mid game to tame OP animals and a robot making late game but making good robots is really grindy
the game also has selected traits that drop from each enemy that makes your characters much more better, and is the main grinding point of the game
I beat most of the content in this game and it's pretty fun. The only stuff that might filter you might be the robot bicrons that will fuck you up if you don't make proper builds and kite appropriately
