Played it but I didn't beat it. As cool as the gamepad stuff was and that a zombie based survival horror finally ripped off Dark Souls' death mechanic, it was profoundly mediocre as an actual game. Ammo was too scarce and failure too punishing for much else but slowly bashing away with a cricket bat to be a viable strategy in the long term.

I bought that since I wasn't getting a Switch day 1 and I've gotta say, thank God I didn't. Not for this game, anyways. I mean, I did put some time into it but I was ultimately disappointed and by the 30 hour mark I was already wanting to start rushing to the end. Would've been pissed to put the money down for a console day 1 over it.

I could've bought it there, but I held off on playing the game until late June of that year when I found my Switch because I knew once I was able to get my hands on one, I'd probably buy the game a second time if I already had the Wii U version.

I bought one later and have a bunch of games for it. Hell, I have all the Megaman collections on it just so I can have a portable Megaman machine, and that alone has been worth it IMO. I just didn't like BotW very much.

I haven't gotten around to this but I was on board with NIS's little indie initiative when they were all on Vita so I have played both Yomawari games, Firefly Diary and A Rose In The Twilight, plus I'm aware of Void Terrarium. Unfortunately, Princess and the Blind Prince looked most like Rose to me which was my least favorite so I've kinda slept on it. I'll probably play it someday, though.

Yeah, I remember just seeing it on the eshop 7 or so years ago and buying it on a whim alongside Ace Attorney Dual Destinies. It’s not a terribly exciting game but it’s a pretty relaxing, unique one. The setting reminded me a lot of Persona 4’s but on a smaller scale.

Metal gear acid 2. The last of the Nojiri directed MG game. Had bad sales sadly.
But I think including all the non Kojima MG games minus MGRR would fit more this list. A lot of them are underrated or/and unknown by the mass.
