No. The game is set during one of the worst crisis of Catholic Church in it's entire history, during the Western Schism, which has laid the foundation of not only the Fraternite and Hussite uprisings, but paved the road for the Reformation later down the line. You can actually read and learn a SHITTON about it in the game itself, because it contains a massive amount of historically well researched info in the encyclopedias. The criticism is not against the faith itself (Bohuta, a deeply god-fearing man, is literally portrayed the ethical centerpiece of the story), but rather towards the particular state the church found itself at the time. Again, a state of such dissoloution that it caused a major dissolution and fracturing that frankly lasted up till present day.
