why did you stop playing the new mount and blade? you used to be so hyped
Why did you stop playing the new mount and blade? you used to be so hyped
It doesn't work for me.
Because I clocked 150 hours into it and am currently sated and patiently awaiting the implementation of new lategame features and refinement of those already there
I'll probably go back to it in a few months and let it consume my life again
OP I know you're still asshurt over the sticky but its STILL one of the most played games on steam
stay mad
it was hogging my ram, is that shit fixed yet?
It doesn't work for me
Played so much I got burned up.
Gonna wait for some mods
9th place behind some ancient games and fucking Destiny 2. it 's all downward from there too
I saved money and time by just playing warband instead
i already did everything on the sigleplayer and the multiplayer is not fun
>Check the MP for first time
>Start one of those games where you control an small army of the same types
>Use berserks cause why not
>Some tryhard starts to complain
>NOOOO YOU HAD TO USE SHIELDS
>somehow kill the enemy archers and win the round
>bersekers again
>WHYYY YOU DON'T LISTEN DO YOU HAVE AN EXTRA CHROMOSOME?
>Lmao fuck off
>Just charge/suicide and laught at the tryhard of my team
>i leave
Now im waiting for an end version vanilla or good mods to play again.
No point getting settled in the single player when they're changing so much so frequently. I'll come back to it in a bit. Haven't bothered with multiplayer since they removed buying your own gear and all the retarded custom loadouts was 90% of the fun of warband
Games pretty much dead until mod tools release.
It's dogshit. The AI somehow got worse since Warband
they keep changing the game
Because once you get past the pretty graphics you realize Warband has more and better content in fucking vanilla.
Waiting for the game to be updated enough to play without needing to restart every 3 days due to updates.
It's not out yet.
Every update has been savegame compatible
I feel something about Bannerlord is off that's making me not like it as much. The game seems to snowball really fast.
Basically, I save up money and influence to build an army to take a city and get it awarded to me. Then my influence and money skyrocket to the point where they don't matter anymore and I can quickly get another 2-3 more cities as the wars go on. Once peace time rolls around I am able to go around and get higher tier troops to make up the bulk of my army meaning that I can crush parties larger than my own with the friendly unit damage set to max. The moment I won a battle against 1200 troops with an army of 650 I realized there was something off. Yes, around a third of those troops were in my clan and next to none were recruits, but numbers should mean something.
I also feel that the enemy tends to stay in their formations much more than in Warband. I can't kite a few dozen people around as a horse archer, but I can just park myself behind them and kill dozens with easy headshots. In Warband that was only possible in sieges where you'd slip past the big troop fights and thin the enemy heard but they'd attack you if you didn't headshot each.
Also once your nation has conquered ~2 other nations, you practically become unstoppable unless its 3v1, and you've conquered so much that you're never in danger of losing anything significant. The enemy also rarely attacks and I've only had to defend a few sieges, and defending in Warband was the best part in my opinion.
I like the game, but it's certainly more easy than Warband and gets easier as it goes on.
Also Dickplomacy when?
it ruins my color coded weapon stat differences
doing same 3 quests got boring
glitches galore
optimization is a joke
I'm glad I pirated
I've put in like 70 hours and I'm taking a break until they get the economy sorted out.
700 unit battle is a mistake. shouldve taken a clue from viking conquest
Have a laptop that can easily run warband, but bannerlords? What the hell are they thinking releasing a game that literally overheats 1080s for breakfast? Naw dude, I'll stick with modded warband.
>that literally overheats 1080s for breakfast?
it doesn't. you just got meme'd into buying a fucking gaming laptop which are all notorious for overheating
To add to this
The quests are pretty boring and once you get a castle or a fair number of troops, they become pointless as fighting battles gives you more money in the same amount of time. Once you get a single castle there's zero reason to ever do a single quest again.
Captain mode is a blast, but you should have played MP during the beta. It was a lot more fun.
I'm not playing it until they fix that weird graphical issue that causes every texture in the game to have a dark grid-like pattern over them for 5700 XT owners.
I'm playing Prophecy of Pendor.
Don't mind me.
Runs like ass
9th place is pretty good. Why are you acting like Destiny 2 isn't a popular game, and most of those games above it are "ancient" but they have a large e-sports scene and are one of the most viewed games on youtube and twitch.
That's pretty good for a game like Bannerlord desu
All those other games are almost all MP, but Bannerlord is mainly SP
