Easily the best Fallout DLC. Post-apocalyptic Fallout=best Fallout
Easily the best Fallout DLC. Post-apocalyptic Fallout=best Fallout
I enjoyed the combat, exploration and the look of it. The environment really felt like what I suppose Bethesda was going for in 3, but this time it was done right.
Ulysses was the weakest part of the whole thing. They had built him up over the course of the previous DLCs and some mentions in the base game, and when you meet him it was a let down. Just tirades about "the bear and the bull and the Divide". I never made sense of what he actually wanted.
dammit Yas Forums, gonna make me boot up nv again. Whats some fun builds. I enjoy seeing people in pieces so maybe explosives
Honest Hearts unmarked survivalist quest feels
That's not OWB OP
finna start my purist enclave genocide play through
Be this guy.
You posted the wrong DLC.
Nah that's the second best, the last half of that dlc is kinda annoying
The bear... The bull... Courier...
>Angry man rants at dude who has amnesia and doesn't remember doing the shit he's saying he did
OK I guess
>more bonding time with best bot ed-e
10/10
Modded the shit out of Fallout 4 and am finally forcing myself to play it to completion. I've picked it up and dropped it probably 2-3 times, and I think I've finally figured out that you really do have to play the game by Bethesda's rules. Yeah it is gay, but once you accept the game for what it is and play the role they gave you it isn't bad. I'm actually having fun.
That being said, god damn I hope Fallout 5 retraces the steps New Vegas laid for it. With 76 printing money I imagine we might not ever see a totally faithful experience again that true fans have been asking for since NV.
Honest Hearts gets a lot of unwarranted flak. The area is fun to explore and looks much more visually appealing than the DLC everyone likes to fellate; OWB.
I feel like people hate OWB now
Shut the fuck up Ulysses
i was never a big fan desu, but that's because i make it a chore and do it early for the xp
I liked exploring in OWB but any time one of their Invader Zim ripoff characters opened their mouth I was not into it.
>writing worse characters than Yas Forumstier trash
That’s pretty tucking embarrassing. How do you get lower than bottom of the barrel?
>Post-apocalyptic Fallout
Isn’t that all fallout games?
>play the role they gave you
The role they gave you is shit though. I don’t want to be a faggot saving inspector gadget from the mob.
Fallout 2 and fallout new Vegas are post post apocalyptic because they rebuilt civilization to early 20th century standards. Todd and Hines are unitonic retards working on something beyond and above them.
Diamond City in 2287 looks little better than Junktown in 2261
2161*
explosives and unarmed is a great combo. new vegas has a ton of variety for unarmed
And the whole of California and ncr territory is supposed be essentially 1940/50s California/Nevada with the only sense of danger or attack being the low class scum and lessers in the outskirts of the territory
>I never made sense of what he actually wanted.
Dude complains about bears and bulls constantly. He was clearly getting cucked
>Play unarmed in New Vegas
>Go around learning all kinds of secret techniques
>Get all kinds of fun weapons to use
>FO4 comes out
>Want to be a rockem sockem robot unarmed power armour build
>Can't equip unarmed weapons with power armour on
>Power armour mods for unarmed are shit compared to a proper weapon
FO4 was so shit in every aspect jesus christ
I didn't mind OWB. But that fucking info dump at the beginning is a huge fucking turnoff from ever doing a fucking playthrough ever again. Holy shit.
Great atmosphere, but you have to put up with MUH BULL MUH BEAR MUH BULL MUH BEAR
What you didn't LOVE the finger penis jokes?
>walk through uninteresting ruins
>generic zombie survivor #682
>all the while some black wannabe philosopher won't shut up
>tunnelers are annoying
um no sweety, in terms of DLC that has best setting, story and gameplay. OWB is first, Dead money second. Dead money has the second best setting out of all the DLC, has the second most interesting NPCS beside OWB but the story is lackluster.
Power armor is such a meme in 4. Everyone and their mother knows how to use it automatically and it’s everywhere. You can get like 3 suits in 10 hours of play time
I loved the atmosphere of the sierra madre.
Peace out to Randall Clark
Yeah it was pretty underwhelming, it SORT of made sense if you played male since your dude was supposed to be military or something, but as a chick it was really dumb that you can just hop in and go.
Man they really fucked the RP aspect of FO4 too not just with the voiced shit but with that whole intro.
Even 3 wasn't as shit for RP, yeah you were a vault kid in 3 but beyond that it was sort of a blank slate for your own character.
>mfw doing each of the DLC at level 1
Good times.
unarmed is literally the best build
Its the only way to have fun in 4. Otherwise, any time you try and roleplay as anything other than a generic mary sue out for his son the game constantly strongarms you back into your place.
>any time you try and roleplay as anything other than a generic mary sue out for his son the game constantly strongarms you back into your place.
How is that fun then?
>absolutely no choices just exposition and fighting high level enemies from combat encounter to the next combat encounter
>once you get to the end you just have a few skill checks and then boom good ending or bad ending or "grey" ending
Be completely honest the only reason so many people like it is because of the gear.
I loved how it actually felt like a walking a tank but was horribly disappointed by the balancing. It came too early, the suits became too common, and there was little to recommend it by the time you could afford to run it regularly.
IMO, it feels like they did all of those shitty balancing decisions because they wanted it to put it in that early Minutemen setpiece, even if there were better things they could have done to balance things out, like have the suit break down afterwards (unless you pass a repair check) or make repairing it more costly in terms of materials.
Question, is any MC from the fallout series not a mary sue? And no you liking them doesn't mean shit try to consider it without bias.
