So, since we got Half-Life: Alyx and it seems to have a really good reception dispite the paywall of having to buy the VR device, do you think we'll get some sort of portal 3? Even if it's a prequel or a crossover or something?

I'd love a VR portal game, but they would likely not happen due valve's idea on momentum in VR, however a portal 3 is likely to happen, later though. My bet is that the next nuValve games we're gonna get will be along the lines of stuff they have practically done, like L4D3, or a quick retooling of HL:A to make a quick sequel.

The puzzles are a little bit lame but the game is gorgeous and enjoyable. Also the philosophy thing is as great or lame as you wanna see it. I love it nonetheless

u couldn't figure out the puzzles. just use the messengers in game. they allow u one free "cheat", but it's only a hint!!

I honestly would play the fuck out of a L4D3. L4D 1 and 2 are the only other games besides halo 3 that I actually have a really fun time playing with friends on. I wish theyd add some sort of reward system for winning though. High scores are really outdated. No one cares about them anymore. Even if it's just character and weapon skins or something stupid like that. Secret characters and maps. Idk.

Portal VR isn't happening. Even if you have the stomach for it, flying and looping through portals is too quick and confusing for VR

It is not easy at all if you wanna get 100% of the collectibles. It is challenging anyways, more than portal or other puzzle games that come to my mind
