I know, in terms of atmosphere, locations, and even some of the character designs, this is the best FF ever made.

And luckily out of all the HD re-releases, this is the one the fucked up the least.
Not a perfect re-release, but ok, especially after all the patches.

This game was really good but it doesn't handle it's themes really well and the end was kinda rushed. Tho Vivi's arc and the evolution of characters like Steiner and The protagonists is so cool. I love the main cast but the rest can go fuck itself.

politely disagree. It has the most well paced story with decent plot twists that are carried with everyone's completed story arcs. Everyone gets a conclusion that's befitting of their character, even Amarant. I can understand some people not liking certain characters, but there are no major plot holes except Vivi's children
Even the final boss Necron is fitting to the story. Necron is the being that was created by Garland to oversee the transference of souls from Terra to Gaia.Everyone in the game has bouts of fear, anxiety, and personal turmoils that Necron represents.You, the player, represents the final push that we need to make in our everyday lives in order to make it better than the last. The very day that is our last on this mortal plane is the day that we meet our maker and are carried into another life, on another world that we were destined to. Our souls are eternal and they sleep for eternity until they are woken up by a vessel worthy of it
