My friends keep telling me PC is better than PS4 for the price. Can you guys build me a PC for $200 cdn that's faster than a ps4 which is also $200?

It would need to include a mouse and keyboard.

Might as well buy a phone and use that.

You can go out and buy a laptop that runs faster than a PS4 for half that

>higher quality costs more money
Who would've thought?

they're lying
>can you guys build me a PC for $200 cdn that's faster than a ps4 which is also $200
nope
but for around $500 you can build something that can do a lot more things than a ps4 and also plays games way better

>It would need to include a mouse and keyboard
Why
Anyway here ignore other retards

Consider the extra $50 equivalent to a year of PS+ except it costs $10 less and lasts forever.

Their*

BTW I don't know how much $200 in canucks is

Like $3.50

PC has no games, buy a PS4 and Switch.

PC+Switch+hacked PS3 gives you access to infinitely more games and PS4 games are slowly coming to PC anyway

PC is way better if you are willing to pay a decent bit more.
If you want something budgety that just need to run modern games, then the PS4 is the better choice.
Honestly you need $600-700 if you want a decent PC, and if you want something that blows PS4 out of the water you need something around for around $1600.

Budget potato master race.

>friends
Thanks for the laugh.
Anyways, it will be better, but cost more. Wait for the next gen to drop, buy one or build a PC that is better a few months later for what you'd pay for a PC now.

It's not the beginning of the generation anymore, and around two years after PS4 came out it was possible to build a console killer for around the same price

build me a pc that plays god of war, bloodborne or last of us

oh wait you can't

Thats like saying you want a car for the price of a bicycle you fcuking mongoloid

>hacked PS3
For what purpose? RPCS3 is already flawless for all the ps3 games that matter

>My friends keep telling me PC is better than PS4 for the price. Can you guys build me a PC for $200 cdn that's faster than a ps4 which is also $200?

A decent PC is far more expensive than a PS4 but on the bright side, all of the games are free for it. In the long run, it's cheaper.

This. You can build a midrange build that will outperform a ps4 but you're still going to pay more. The savings comes from not having to pay to play online and there are lots of sales through steam and epic that are far better than you get from psn.

>Can you guys build me a PC for $200 cdn that's faster than a ps4 which is also $200?
Yes.
Workstation + RX 570.

Except that's not even true. Launch prices are important here as well as cost for memberships. You're looking at $400 + roughly $400 for online over the console's lifetime. Midrange beats the shit out of consoles AND any high-end PC. Fuck your 144hz le PCMR build and fuck console niggers.

It's not. $800 for a PS4 on launch + online.

Find me a ps4 that can play music, play a movie, download a file, and play games all at the same time first.

IMO the biggest draw of a brand spanking new PC is that it takes literal decades to go obsolete

wait 1 year ;)

just stop being poor dude

buy an optiplex tower for $80-100 and a used RX 480 for another 100 bucks.

Except that's not the case. CPUs will last you a good while if you buy high-end, but in terms of GPUs you have to be a moron to buy nvidia's scams. GPUs become outdated after 3-4 years unless you lower your expectations which no one will. If you bought a 1080 you bought it for 4k or for 144hz. 4 years later it can't reliably do it anymore. So you're forced to upgrade or live with it, something PC players won't do. I sure as shit won't keep my 1060 once I can't reliably play games at 60fps anymore.

>my friends

yeah we know this is bullshit since you don't have any friends

Not op
can anyone reccomend a 1000.00$ budget build?
That would be for 3d rendering

It's more expensive now, though
