Split the series in two, for each side of the fan base.
One series, a genuinely good story with genuinely good characters, about heroes (almost all male) being summoned to fight for the Holy Grail.
The other series, pornography where heroes of past ages are resurrected as cute girls in lewd outfits and you fuck their brains out.

Fate as it is can’t be fixed. The fans are all horny losers and the artists are just as diseased for catering to them. Half the characters are literally just breasts. They weren’t anything memorable as visual novels and not anymore as card games or animated pornography or anything else for that matter.
