Is it a scam?
Is it a scam?
In what way could it be a scam?
No idea, never heard of that game
they are legit
It’s a company that releases physical copies of games that don’t normally have them
fuck limited run
Sounds like bootlegs.
They used to be total shit, but have figured things out. Years ago a game would go up and sell out in 40 seconds.
LRG aren't scams you idiots. They're designed to help small time studios who cant get big time publishing deals, to put a small circulation of physical copies out on the market for those who want them.
Problem is, everyone and their mother hoards them and sells them for scalper value, making it impossible for actual fans to get them unless they're at their computers at 7am sharp on the dot, because they're gone in 3 minutes flat.
That and it took TWO FUCKING YEARS for me to finally get pic related thanks to sony's utter incompetence, only to then get a real release on switch
>Gave me physical copies of Bloodstained, Furi ,Skullgirls and the Shantae soundtracks
Can't complain.
>Implying any company that re-makes and redistributes fucking Chex quest is anything but based
They have proper pre-orders now. Panzer Dragoon on Switch has been up for a few weeks.
How is it a scam if they actually work with developers of game that don’t have physical copies?
Still waiting on my VA11-HALLA to ship
imagine paying extra $25 for plastic and an artbook you'll skim through once lmao
It's good if they release a good CE for a game you love but the quality of the CE's varies from shit to pretty good. It's mental illness if you buy every release they put out because its 90% literal shovelware. They absolutely lie about the quantities. I'd guess they make double what they claim for some games. The community on discord is full of complete faggots. I can't take them seriously after buying every Indiebox steelbook game with book, soundtrack, physical and steam key for 97 cents each from gamestop. They were regularly priced 19.99 but still
i bought panzer dragoon, that is the only interaction ive had with this company
Imagine paying any physical money you’ve spent time to earn for digital bits n bobs.
They have a tranny stream every other day this week
I'm only upset because I bought CoTM on switch expecting to get ROTN on switch as well, then Inti had to go and fuck up the Switch port for bloodstained so bad that it became nigh unplayable, so I was forced to get it on PS4.
Sorry I don't get triggered by gender politics like 90% of this immature board, so that has no value to me, nor does it suddenly make me want to boycott them for it.
Fun fact: Limited Run initially set out to make physicals of games that didn't get them like Yakuza 5, and Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies, But both Sega and Nintendo turned them down because they saw no profit in it. Microsoft also said no, so Sony was the only one playing ball. 3 years later and nintendo jumped on board with switch titles as soon as they were approached.
I got super meat boy and freedom planet from best buy
it's pretty cool for neo geo games that they come in a box that's similar to their original box. i unfortunately didn't get the SamShoV tho...
Got Salt and sanctuary for switch for $9.99 from best buy. The market is oversaturated with this shit now. I hope nobody is thinking this shit is going to be a good investment. Maybe 1 out of 10 will go up in value
Microsoft has like a 40k minimum order. I don't blame them for not bothering with petty shit that is hoarded by a cancerous community.
>maybe 1/10
As someone who has bought numerous LRGs, i can tell you thats false. Most of the ones I have are worth nearly triple their market value right now due to scarcity.
Bootlegs are unofficial and unauthorized. These are official releases and are actually manufactured by Sony and Nintendo, just in lower quantities than a normal production run.
I don't think most people buy these as investment. They buy them because they like the games and want a hard copy.
Prove it
Prove what? Look up any major LRG release on ebay. The swindler, one I bought for $20, is now currenly $85. Bloodstaind CoTM is like $145.
People are absolutely buying them as investments. There are a handful of CE's and early releases that went up but most of them would sell for a loss after selling fees and shipping if you tried to sell the shit now
I don't doubt that some people are doing it, but definitely not the majority.
$20 lol right dude I'm sure it was $24.99 min plus tax and shipping so $30-$35. I've bought shit from them too. Now search actually closed sold auctions on ebay for a better example of what it's worth. Then subtract fees. They're shit investments.
>Plus shipping.
I live in the same state. shipping is nothing.
>Then subtract fees
Not my fault you aren't a 5 grand+ star seller.
There are autistic fags that buy every single release or multiples of each. It was infuriating when they released a game I played thousands of hours on but had to compete with autists who never played it and will never open it to get a copy.
Found the scalper. I did actually successfully scalp the river city girls ce since the game and ce were shit. Ended up getting the Vinyl sundtrack for free.
You're retarded. Screencap the invoice or you're larping
>Screencap your personal info and post it for me.
Howabout no?
Merchant yes, scalper no. I actually buy games for me.
Just the price with shipping and everything. Stop larping
