the final boss is a fucking joke, the ending is hilariously bad, think Iron Giant but with no buildup, and then the credits song is the most pathetically on the nose, uncreative possible choice they could have made.

BL2 had hammerlock being gay, you learn it thought a dialogue in the big hunt DLC where he says "An old boyfriend of mine" when refering to some dude.
In BLTPS you get a lesbian who's whole personality is being a lesbian.
In BL3 you have annoying "strong" female characters, an entire fucking dlc dedicated to a gay wedding, a fucking "non binary" playable character (who's a fucking robot made of binary, looks like a guy and is voiced by one).
There's a lot of shit from bl3 but that's just a few things.

Nobody does this, but the story is woven into the game. You cannot play the game without the story also playing. The only way you can take the story out is by switching the language, and even then you still have to carry out story objectives.
