I'm expanding my racing collection for emulation, got the first three RRs plus Rage and Turbo Mode. V apparently has severe issues on PCSX2 still, but 2 would probably work fine on PPSSPP. Any other games I should look into? Because there seems to be no real "best of" things people did for this series besides praising Type 4 and the PSP games.

If you gave me a tight and fun Ridge Racer that went beyond the psp games and had basically every single thing worth noting, I wouldn't complain. With how everything is all about real car brands and trying to be racing sims in a competitive console focused market nowadays, letting loose with something more old-school shouldn't be a sin in an age of resurrecting 90's/early 00's stuff.
